Me, too! Sometimes, the schlockier, the better. I got "The Sadist" on a dvd double bill with "The Killing Kind" (1973) with John Savage as a troubled young man who just got out of jail and Ann Sothern as his blowsy, enabling mother. It is low-budget and very good. Yes, the lead, Arch Hall, Jr. did have a face that was rather, ummm, unfortunate. Really just the nose, I s'pose. Oh, well. He had the killer blonde pompadour, and it didn't keep him from getting the girl. Did you see "Eeegah", mortsahlfan? It also featured Arch Hall, Jr. Also Richard Kiel, "Jaws" from "The Spy Who Loved Me"...
