Am I blind or did someone in this thread suggest making McClane a woman? I'm all for gender equality but 99% of the time, women kicking men's asses in films defies credibility.

It will probably happen one day for real. We might even get a female version of Die Hard as well. In such a case I would go with Drew Barrymore as Jane Mc Clane, since she has action experience via the two Charlie's Angels flicks. |

I would rather they didn't. Just make one last movie with Bruce Willis and end it for good. Hollywood make WAY too many remakes as it is but if they are going to remake it they should make a closer adaption to the novel it was based on 'cause it would be very different and we would be seeing something new for a change.
