Convince me otherwise.
WWE narrative tries to convince us that she is without a doubt the best woman wrestler in the world/company. Yet what about her makes her so special? Let's look at her skill set.
Is she the best in ring worker? Nope. That should go to the likes of Sasha Banks who gives the best match to any female she has faced. Her vs Charlotte was Charlotte's best work, same goes for Sasha vs Bayley, Sasha vs Bliss, Sasha vs Asuka. There is something in common there and it's Sasha. She just sells so well.
Is she the best talker? Nope. That is easily Alexa Bliss. Bliss is one of the best female promo's in a while. Best since AJ for sure. She just has it when it comes to mic skills. The way she holds herself with the mic is just pure confidence. Meanwhile Charlotte/Ric Jr just relies on her father's catch phrases and a "woo!" She doesn't stand out at all.
That brings me to everything else about her. She has nothing original about her. She is indeed Ric Jr. She has her fathers face, fathers robes, fathers music, fathers finishing move, fathers catch phrases. Literally she has nothing about her that doesn't rely completely on being Ric Flairs daughter and having that last name. Had she not, she would literally just be anyone else on the roster. That last name is the only reason why WWE pushes her the way they do and try and tell the narrative that she's the best. Which makes her completely over rated.

I Strongly Disagree!
I think that the Most OVERRATED (and Thankfully, Fans Know It!) is Roman Reigns.

Nah. Most over rated by who? By WWE? The IWC? Arena fans?
And how do you guage? Shawn Michaels in '96 by in ring work was one of the best reigns ever. For character work it was terrible. It was absolutely ridiculous watching an arrogant unlikeable douche acting like a Bret Hart style white meat babyface. While the match quality was high, he made the shows borderline unwatchable with his "Boyhood Dream" schtick, which was exactly why everybody cheered Sid when he punched an old man and knocked Shawn out with a TV Camera to finish it.

As an HBK fan, I can't argue with that. His babyface run stripped away (no pun intended) everything that made him interesting. I'd say Shawn's best character work was his original DX run. But returning to the topic at hand, I don't think Charlotte is overrated. However, the WWE is in too much of a hurry to try and establish her as legendary. She built up her rep as being a great competitor in NXT over time.

Over rated by WWE's narrative and in my opinion the fan base as I stated my reasonings. In regards to HBK. The only real argument I can see against him is that he wasn't as high of a draw as World Champion then when his character wasn't coming off as genuine. However, that can be said about anybody in pro wrestling. All the greats had a time when the crowd wasn't feeling them from the Hogan's, Rock's, Austin's so to me HBK's situation there was no different then what anyone else at the top eventually feels. Fans will always eventually hate a guy once they're the guy. Die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain and all.

She built up her rep as being a great competitor in NXT over time. But honestly, what is so great about her? Like I stated, everything she is, is just handed down to her from her father. Nothing about her is original. I'm not saying she's a bad worker. She's just not the best that the WWE narrative is putting out there and fans are buying. I'm not buying it. She's a decent worker who can botch just as much as any female on the roster but for me to believe she is the best? Then she needs to stand out on some level as herself and not as Ric's daughter. Her best matches came against Sasha, as I feel everyone's has. Which makes me believe that Sasha is the best in ring talent. Charlotte doesn't even hold a candle to Alexa's mic skills and facial expressions and confidence. So I'm asking, what is so great about Charlotte? Maybe she's the most rounded female on the roster in terms of everything? But that doesn't scream "great" to me in any sort of way.

Again, it's all about how the main roster has used her. In NXT, she was built up, not handed everything. They took their time establishing her as a top level performer. And other than having her father in her corner occasionally, she was not booked as Ric's daughter. She was her own person.

I have always found Charlotte to be overrated right from the start, she's an incredible athlete no doubt but that doesn't mean she's a great worker, she can do the moves fine but to me that's only half the job, it's not just about how you do things but why you do them, Charlotte to me doesn't have that second half of being a great worker, I agree if she were not marketed as Ric Flair's daughter she'd be just another body on the roster, but she has it so people give her more credit than she is due imo.

I think she's a tireless worker, a tremendous athlete and has real toughness. I just can't buy into her second-hand personality. I respect her for her in-ring abilities more than I like her.

I agree her selling is definitely a weakness and she isn't the best on the mic, but she has a great look and pretty good in-ring athleticism. Her moonsault is a thing of beauty.
Once again it comes down to WWE and their terrible booking. She goes over far too often, especially as a heel. When she was scoring W's over face Sasha clean as a whistle it was simply irksome.
