1. Is it going to kill us? 2. Should I cancel my swimming lesson on Friday? 3. Will the MLB season still start in April, or is that cancelled? 4. Can I still have my dinner party on Sunday evening? 5. Is the world as we know it going to end?
Why should we be worried about global warming?

I would wager that most people on the internet who say that they don't care or even deny climate change are people with no children and with no hope in hell of having children due to being just damn-awful ugly. I'm talking elephant-man-with-faced-smeared-in-shit ugly.

I don't know?
It could be because this is the first anthropogenically driven climate change?
That it is the fastest climate shift the world has ever seen?
That the natural world doesn't have the usual adapt, evolve, or move strategies available in the time frame?
That tropical diseases are spreading out from the equatorial region to more temperate zones at an alarming rate?
Increasing drought and famine...
Etc, etc... but we don't know why global warming is a bad thing?

Why should we be worried about global warming? Some of us have children and grand children, the long term future of the environment is important to us.

oh i dunno. maybe some of us actually care about the world we live in. and aren't just looking to systematically rape every resource as we plunder each other's sovereignty.

Why should we be worried about global warming? Some of us have children and grand children, the long term future of the environment is important to us. Then I have some very bad news for you. The earth is going to be depopulated. For every fourteen people alive now, thirteen of them will have to die. And "global warming" is just a hoax to keep people distracted.

Do you live near an airport? Let me guess, global warming can bring planes down?

Do you live near an airport? Let me guess, global warming can bring planes down? No, you seem comfortable with things going over your head.

No, you seem comfortable with things going over your head. Well you said you wont give reasons why we should be concerned, so you must not be too worried about it. This is why it has gone over your head. I don't care for idiotic options when the most obvious options is not on there in that there is an option for a concern for future generations, yours were of a somewhat immediate concern. But yeah it so obvious I don't give a shite fronted with your (oh! oh! oh!) options.
