1. Is it going to kill us? 2. Should I cancel my swimming lesson on Friday? 3. Will the MLB season still start in April, or is that cancelled? 4. Can I still have my dinner party on Sunday evening? 5. Is the world as we know it going to end?
Why should we be worried about global warming? 1) Some of us, yes. 2) No. 3) I've no idea. What's MLB? 4) Sure. 5) Well, it will change a lot. Meanwhile the actual effects will be : Rising seas and increased coastal flooding. Maybe you live inland, which is nice. You're still going to suffer the economic effects when coastal communities start flooding. Weather changes. More and more severe storms, hurricanes, etc. This also means increased droughts. It's not making headlines yet but water is a rapidly booming industry for this reason. Loss of forests. For example, the Rocky Mountains have lost tens of millions of trees over the past 15 years because of tree-killing insects, wildfires, and stress from heat and drought - all climate change driven. Health issues : Climate change will likely lead to increased air pollution, a longer and more intense allergy season, the spread of insect-borne diseases, more frequent and dangerous heat waves, and heavier rainstorms and flooding. All of these changes pose serious, and costly, risks to public health. Disruptions to food supplies. More frequent heat waves, heavier precipitation in some regions, and more severe droughts in others, all have implications for crop and meat production. That will drive costs up on everything from coffee to cattle. Spread of Disease : As the temperate zones warm, many new species are moving out into new areas - and bringing tropical diseases with them. Expect to have to spend money to combat this, and expect to lost people to it anyway. Very possibly lots of people. Care about it or don't, it's up to you.

Why should we be worried about global warming? Some of us have children and grand children, the long term future of the environment is important to us. Think of the children! What if they don't mistake science for religion like you do?

I would wager that most people on the internet who say that they don't care or even deny climate change are people with no children and with no hope in hell of having children due to being just damn-awful ugly. I'm talking elephant-man-with-faced-smeared-in-shit ugly. So insults are all you have got?

Now you're confusing me with someone who gives a shit. So you can't give any reasons why we should be concerned. That's about what I figured. Someone who believes in global warming but can't tell us why we should be concerned. That seems to be how many of them are.

This is a post from you shortly beforehand on another thread: I know the OP is just trolling, but I'm bored enough to reply, so... First, John Locke was against the right to abortion. Therefore, this meme does not apply to liberals. Second, I do not support abortion. I support the right to abortion. Whether women choose to exercise that right is none of my business. Third, terrorists are persons. Fetuses are not. Y'know I have never understood why almost all abortion supporters are males who have never and will never beget children (mostly because they can't bring themselves to speak to much less touch, women.) I read you and believe me when I say this you shit-stirring gobshite, you and this fuckin' man-child blade, are getting nothing but insults from me, not because you are christian or ant-gay but because I can and will. So yeah, for you flotsam and any fuckin' jetsam, all I have are insults.

Yes, it's so obvious. Someone swearing? Must be Prog. Nobody else swears in the fantasy world that retarded six year old adopted boy made to dress like a girl continues to live in as a pretend 63 year old New Zealand mother, teacher, English fucking scholar....

...food for thought: (no pun intended)
100 years ago, there were fewer than 2 billion people living on earth. Today, 100 years later, there are 7 billion+ on earth. 100 years ago, only wealthy people owned automobiles. Today, there are billions of autos that consume fossil fuels. On average, every person today generates about 3 to 5 pounds of garbage per day. Much of this is recyclable, but most of it goes into landfills. The recent collapse of a garbage dump in Ethiopia killing more than 100 people should be a warning sign of things to come. Global warming? We are our own worst enemy.

Well excuse the fuck me! Nope, I'm Negan, I've always been Negan. I just didn't know it and it needed me to meet you to make me realise... I'm Negan!
