CameronThere is a reason why he failed to ever create/produce a good TV show. He can't tell a complex story. I don't understand this post. You picked Cameron, but then say he can create a complex story?

Spielberg. Cameron made some of the all-time greats in my world, but so did Spielberg and he's made more of them. What I mean is Cameron has made some movies that are some of my all-time favorites, but Spielberg has made some truly great movies and has mostly sustained the same level of success. Cameron hasn't been the same guy since True Lies IMO.

Spielberg but Cameron has a higher batting average since he’s not as prolific

Spielberg
outside of The Terminator, James Cameron is very overrated. Spielberg's best for me is Munich/War of the Worlds/The Lost World: Jurassic Park which makes him overall better than Cameron even though The Terminator beats all of Speilberg's movies.

Spielberg. There are only two Cameron movies that I really like: "Aliens" and "Titanic". Meanwhile, if someone says a Spielberg title, it holds a place in my heart. even 1941, A.I., Hook, Lost World, B.F.G., and the Terminal??? Liked "A.I.", tolerate "Lost World", not a fan of "1941". Haven't seen "Hook" or "The Terminal".
