So looking at the Uwe Boll directed film House of the Dead again. I was really excited when this came out because I was a huge fan of the video game. Basically this film is very much hated sine its release. It still has a 2.0 on IMDB. The film is a mess in many ways. The movie starts with a spoiler voice over. The editing is odd in spots. The flashback scenes look terrible. The dialog is corny and the whole film just has a cheesy feel. Despite all the things wrong with the film I actually dont think it is that bad of a movie. Not saying its good but I find it entertaining. Plus some of the sets are nice. And I do really like the action/shooting zombies montage. 5/10 What did you all think?

It has a bad rep, but we've all sat through far worse...like the sequel!

Couldn't really get into it back in the day. I did enjoy Uwe Boll's 'Bloodrayne' (2005) though.

Watched it the once quite awhile back. Mainly out of curiosity and didn’t particularly care for it. Sort of interested in checking it out again though, but I noticed there’s now a “funny version” of the film?

Im curious to see that but I dont want to spend ten bucks on it.

The setting of the island is cool. The Zombies are okay. (Seen way worse) It gets pretty silly once the movie goes into video game mode and the victims suddenly can do backflips etc. Which I get it... The film *is* based on a video game. Not sure how it could've been executed better.
Swear to god I saw an entry on the 1st imdb about another "HOTD" in the works starring Jonathan Cherry again.
