Cons - Awful way for the series to end Visual effects Superman just taking it upon himself to rid the world of nukes with no opposition from world leaders. Down a dangerous road this can lead for Superman to just enact his will on the earth.
Pros - It's in color with stereo sound It's more enjoyable, but in an ironic way, over Superman III. At 90 minutes, it's pretty brief.

Still one of the most baffling Superman movie moments:

Pros:
I haven't seen it. Though maybe I should? Looks like laughs are had with it. Or at it, rather.

Looks like laughs are had with it. Or at it, rather. Well it's a film from the Cannon Group. Laughs, unintentional or not, come with the territory.

Pros - Gene Hackman is still fun to watch as Lex Luthor.

Pros: -It's enjoyably bad. -The actors at least try.
Cons: -Nuclear Man -Overlong space fight scene. -Laser vision to rebuild the great wall. Really? -Sucks that this was the last one to star Reeve (and the rest of the original cast)

Pros: I haven't seen it. Though maybe I should? Looks like laughs are had with it. Or at it, rather. Well if you didn't like Superman III for its dullness, then maybe this could make up for its insane silliness to the point that it's more enjoyably bad. Still a far worse film though.

Superman III has no laughs. And it's supposed to be a campy comedy with Richard Pryor.

They are equally bad for different reasons. The worst crime a movie can commit is to be boring.

The idea of an evil Superman had its potential even if it wasn't executed that good. Plus the no addition of Luthor made it a much more unique entry and felt fresh without him, despite him being one of the best parts of the first two films. Really, why did he need to come back in Superman II?

Really, why did he need to come back in Superman II? Except or the fact that the villain is just a lame version of Lex Luthor. The villain in Superman III is one of the most boring and redundant villains in movie history imo. I think they were on the right track giving us another superpowered villain in Superman IV.

Superman III has no laughs. And it's supposed to be a campy comedy with Richard Pryor. I mean, I can see why one would prefer IV over III, but I can still find some more quality in III.
