Neither are good, but I much prefer Tron: Legacy.

RPO. Tron: Legacy is a mediocre sequel to an already overrated film that is only remembered as a 'cult classic' by nostalgia blinded nerds for its now extremely lame pandering to gamers at that time.

This one really goes without saying...
TRON: Legacy (2010) - 7.5-8/10 (it's rare to find a movie I like this much that's not rated PG-13 or R (or higher). it's within my Top 105 movies as I think it's underrated around here.)
I have not seen Ready Player One but given how much I like TRON: Legacy it's pretty safe for me to choose that as I kind of assume Ready Player One probably won't get more than a 5/10 (i.e. average/forgettable) for me had I seen it. I won't bother seeing Ready Player One as I get more of a negative impression of it given the commercials on it. TRON: Legacy on the other hand was a solid surprise in a positive way.

TRON: Legacy on the other hand was a solid surprise in a positive way. So you didn't expect it to be good? What if READY PLAYER ONE surprises you too?

I haven't seen RPO yet so I can't vote, but I was pleasantly surprised by Tron: Legacy. I really liked that movie.

VitsI definitely did not expect to like it anywhere near what I did especially given it's rare for me to like a movie to a higher degree (say 7/10 or higher) that's not rated PG-13 or R (and the like). basically I did not expect much from it as I went into it with my usual level of expectations given most movies score a 5/10(Thumbs Down (the majority of movies I see)) for me with a 6/10(a mild Thumbs Up) being the next most common. so for it to get a 7.5-8/10 (which makes it within my Top 105 movies) is quite high as that does not happen much for me as in general movies I score a 7 or higher I usually can roughly gauge that before seeing a movie (like ill think the movie in question has potential for a 7 or higher etc or not) but once in a while a surprise turns up in a positive(I underestimated) or negative way(I overestimated). but, off the top of my head, I would say there are more surprises in a positive way for me than in a negative way as it's probably more likely ill underestimate a movie then overestimate one as I am generally more surprised in a positive way than in a negative way. but like I was saying neither of those happens much for me even though it still happens once in a while. who knows, maybe ill eventually see Ready Player One but I am in no rush given my impressions of it from the commercials and Spielberg's rep with me ain't nothing special either outside of a handful of movies (Munich/War of the Worlds/The Lost World: Jurassic Park). basically Spielberg is more popular with the masses then myself as his more bigger name movies I tend to think lower of than what the masses general opinion is.
