In other Sixers news - per multiple sources the Sixers are now the Vegas favorite to land LeBron James and they just extended Brett Brown  Nice to see Embiid domintating pick up games in the streets of Philly  And if this turns out to be true - I completely agree with what was said about Okafor, Noel, Fultz and Embiid. BC has gotten grilled here by the Kool-Aid drinking robot Sixers fans ever since taking over for Hinkie. Although I've always 'Trusted the Process' and love how Hinkie set this team up for success - you can't be a blind homer (like the SBNation Sixers website 'Liberty Ballers' - pretty much a cult of stat dorks) - i.e. blindly defending a horrific basketball player like Nerlens Noel to your grave just because you're a 'fan'. The comments stated about Noel in this article were spot on - I.E. being a greedy vulture and a punk. Hysterical how he turned down a $70 mil contract from the Mavs and bet on himself. He bet on himself and lost - was buried on the bench in Dallas too. That being said - we will see 'The Process' completed this offseason during the Draft and Free Agency. |

Colangelo needs to fired immediately. I am serious. He was giving away private team and medical information on these accounts and was bashing his own players. This is the most important offseason in the history of the Sixers franchise. No player is going to want to come here with BC as the GM. My guess is that within the next 48 hours he is gone.

It's amazing how we're 1 day before the NBA Finals... And after the Sixers completely blew the roof off the joint in terms of popularity this year.... The media circus all day long today (again the day before the NBA Finals) has been: 1. The Colangelo Saga 2. LeBron and Philly now the Vegas odds on bet 3. The Brett Brown extension 4. Joel Embiid dunking on slow footed white guys in parks in Philly 5. Ben Simmons love life I love it! |

Everybody thinks it isn't going to go more than 5 games and we've now seen this series four times in a row. It's a day coming off of no playoffs for either the NBA or NHL, pre World Cup, and baseball early and boring with all the strikeouts this season. Thankfully for sports talk, the Sixers jumper into the fray - - I didn't need a breakdown of the college world series match-ups. |
