Trade Talk: Machado, Britton, Donaldson www.mlb.com/news/mlb-trade-deadline/c-281084458Imagining a Phillies-Orioles blockbuster June 27: The Phillies are among the teams rumored to be interested in the Orioles' Manny Machado, and The Athletic's Jim Bowden suggests Philadelphia should make a big splash by swinging a trade for both Machado and All-Star closer Zach Britton. As Bowden writes, Philadelphia is a logical landing spot for Machado and Britton as free agents this offseason, so why not acquire them now with the intention of making a 2018 postseason run and then hope both re-sign? While the Phillies are unlikely to make top prospect Sixto Sanchez (RHP) available, Bowden thinks an offer of infielder J.P. Crawford, No. 2 prospect Adonis Medina (RHP), No. 22 prospect Cole Irvin (LHP) and No. 27 prospect Connor Seabold (RHP) could be enough to get a deal done with Baltimore.

Marlins top prospect Sandy Alcantara made his debut tonight, 5 innings, 1 run, in line for the win. Iβm hoping he can become a strong pitcher for the Fish, we need good pitching, and I hope heβs worth trading Ozuna for.

6 NH Fisher Cats make the Eastern League All Star game. 2020 Blue Jays gonna make Stanton look washed up & broken.

Marlins have another pitcher making his MLB debut today, Pablo Lopez. Iβm hoping he looks strong, Fish desperately need some good pitching in the future.

He goes 10-0 for the remainder of the year with an 0.76 ERA. In fear they'll have to pay him some coin down the road - he's dealt to the Yanks at the Winter Meetings for an aging 32 year old left fielder in Single A and 'cash' in the Yanks farmy.

Unfortunately that sounds just like what the Marlins management would do, they are absolute trash. Iβm still outraged by the Stanton trade rip off, we traded the MVP for nothing.
