Odubel Herrera homers again, five straight games. He keeps this shit up, he will go downs as one of the best Rule 4 picks ever. Up with Johan Santana, George Bell, Willie Hernandez Manny Trillo vying for the 2nd all time greatest Rule 5. The Pirates got Roberto Clemete from the Dodgers in rule 5, so that kind of tops the list.

Roberto Osuna - 75 game suspension.
Through the trade deadline thus erasing chance for the Jays to trade him pre-waiver trade window.
*retroactive to May 8

Brutal stretch for them. Nats - Yanks - Nats. If they can hold on they are off to a great start.

If they can hold on they are off to a great start. yep. just played a ton of games against the Brew Crew and had the Cards and Cubbies too..... i hope after the 4th of July maybe they start getting a little more recognition around here and 'The Bank' starts filling up again being summer is here and kids are out of school. curious to see what happens at the trade deadline. been tooting a horn for awhile now to bring Hamels home - and curious to see if they do make a run at Machado - i.e. if he can be had for 50 cents on the dollar being the Os may want to unload him to get anything for him - and if they can get some kind of guarantee he'd re-up here.

Steve Pierce just off the dl, hit a 3 run homer straddling the line. Go Jays. Don't blow it in the 9th.

Jays starters Sanchez and Garcia on 10 day DL. Please tell me they have someone better than Biagini ready to go.

The Angels just came back from 3 runs down. Hernandez was playing shallow with the bases loaded and being 3 runs up. Awful field positioning. 2 outs and they were protecting it like it was a 2 run lead. Just awful managing.

Smart thinking by the Dodgers to give Kershaw a rehab start on Saturday against the Mets. It's always best to err on the side of caution with your studs.

Another brilliant start from Charlie Morton tonight, heβs the most underrated pitcher in MLB IMO, 7 shutout innings with 13 Kβs. Astros have such a terrific starting rotation, they will be very difficult to defeat in the postseason with 5 excellent starters and a deep bullpen.
