After the drunk ran me over, I stayed with my Uncle a lot. He was on disability after losing an eye. I had to get up and walk a lot and shooing pool was perfect. I could use the table and the cue to hold myself up. So I was 12 - 15 years old and shooting pool four hours a day. Anyone would get good. I have two pool tables and a snooker table in my basement. I'd love to work my way up to a century break in Snooker. This is still the most amazing thing I even seen with a cue Impressive. Very nice. I used to have one of these at work - mini pool table in my cubicle - before I found out this was a harsh cruel world and you can get fired at any second - now I roll bare bones. I bought one of those for my grandson on the day he was born. Problem is, he likes shooting on that more than on the real tables. I'm hoping to get him to play on the big tables when he gets older. Since I can't play basketball or baseball with him.

1. Miracle 2. A League of Their Own 3. Rocky 4. Rocky IV 5. Rocky III 6. Rocky II 7. Remember The Titans 8. Seabiscuit 9. We Are Marshall 10. Any Given Sunday I forgot about Seabiscuit. Forgot Friday Night Lights also. And *61. There's a boxing movie I'm forgetting too. Not Cinderella Man. I hated the way the film portrayed Max Baer. He was not the strutting jackass that the movie made him out to be. I like a sports movie to be accurate (somewhat anyway), which is why I don't like Eight Men Out. It's accurate to the book but the book makes up a lot of lies that didn't need to be made up.

Good choice of the Natural - my favourite also. However strange to see Field Of Dreams totally omitted, being in the same saccharine, supernatural themed, ahem, "ballpark"!
Otherwise notable thread omissions:- Chariots Of Fire Gregory's Girl The Karate Kid
