Sure, he was kind of a grump who seemed to take this board, and himself a tad too serious... well, I mean he did teach night classes on Internet Arguing n all... but, discussing things with him, whether you agree him or not, was entertaining... usually more so when you didn't agree with him... |

Talking about them as they were... keeps them in our minds and hearts. Cash was who he was. He spent over a decade arguing here.. a part of this board... a part of us... We still talk about other posters who no longer post here... whether in praise or mockingly... without ever knowing of their final outcome or reason for leaving... The only difference here is that we know his. Cash being dead doesn't change who he was... nor should we ever forget him (for it. - edit) |

He was nice to me. Not that he ever said anything nice to me but remember when I was on your side regarding fake voting by his friends in the funniest poster contest? He didn't say anything mean to me even though I was all over his friends. That and a few other times when I was against him he didn't say anything to me. I guess I was fine in his bookS! Yeah, but I swear I couldn't get along derived absurdity and Original_Castor_Troy. Well, it says a lot that you thought he was being 'nice to you' by NOT saying anything nasty. No, he had reasons not to be nice to me as I believe Troy and Derived brought the worst in me. Yet he never engaged in all my mad fights with them. Sad that you two couldn't get along. He was possibly the most intelligent poster of RFS (even though he said it was redruth). He was on the correct side on most issues. Yes, I know about gun thing but I judge a person from his or her overall views. In my books Cash was good. More than that he was interesting! you knew exactly where he stood on any and all issues. although every time someone popped in to say they were having serious life issues and/or thoughts of ending their lives. cash was always the first to chime in: 'go ahead and kill yourself'. which i thought was a wee bit too much. (although some of the people that have graced this place should die) but that's whole other story. or maybe i'm thinking of the infamous feuds that he was entangled in. |

We never got along but RIP Cash. I recall he believed in Quantum immortality so hopefully he had some peace. I have to say I'm sort of shocked, we by no means liked each other but it's crazy that somebody who you had interactions with (albeit negative ones) over a number of years is now dead. I never thought I'd say this but I have quite an amount of sympathy for the guy. Thanks for letting us know Cinemachinery |
