She should be out. I don't hate her but her decisions with the franchise have been terrible:
- Merchandising sales haven't been this low since the "dark days" in the 90's when there weren't any new Star Wars movies (until 99 with Episode 1). - She made a faux pas when she publicly stated they (Disney) don't need the male Star Wars fan base...the same fan base that has been flying through Hyperspace with the stories/characters for 40 years. Even though she feels this way, she shouldn't ever had said it publicly. That was foolish as it only further alienated the fan base. She should have kept that to herself. Out of everything (even Mark Hamill's blunt honesty), that was the worst PR moment. When you're in charge of such a huge franchise, you have to have some tact/diplomacy. - Then she/Johnson/Abrams further exasperated things by stating that all criticism of the new movies is by racists/sexists. Wrong move. - She approved a script that disrespected and dishonored prior stories/characters/mythology. Of course Star Wars fans won't be forgiving of that. - For not planning out the whole episodic trilogy ahead of time. Very foolish decision. - For picking amateurs to helm the pictures, then firing them which only hurt the productions and caused further PR issues. - For not involving George Lucas in the movies was wrong. Having him attend Celebration and movie premiers isn't enough. He especially needed to be on the set of Episode 8...
She doesn't know what she'd doing and it's painfully obvious. In part, this is Disney's fault too. They should have several people in charge of the franchise, so there's a sense of "checks and balances." Kennedy was given too much power. It's too much power for any single person.

You have my vote, Mr Ackbar! ...assuming of course that your first priority is to make a movie where Admiral Ackbar destroys the Quarren home world.

Is she? Hmm, I'd say Frank Marshall but he seems tied up with the Jurassic World movies. Lawrence Kasdan?

Stop reading fake news sites and out of context quotes, no one ever stated that It's not fake news when it comes directly from Abrams/Johnson's personal Twitter accounts. Pretty hard to take things out of context when they're the ones writing the words. Kennedy's quotes come from various interviews she gave talking about her direction with the franchise. It's sad out of all I said, that's what you take away from it...

He said after Episode 7 that Solo would be his final Star Wars outing. He said he was only interested in doing those two movies because they had Han. Han is apparently his favorite Star Wars character.

Disney has been doing the anti-male thing for some time. In Pirates of the Caribbean 4 (2011) they introduced the white male as a prisoner on a mast-then had him a victim for most of the movie. When he is mortally wounded he helps a mermaid and she drags him into the ocean depths.
In Pirates 1 the fiancee' military guy loses the girl and Jack Sparrow. 2 and 3 are about absentee fathers etc.
Kennedy was hired because she is the PR face that Disney management wants. Make no mistake, the executives are calling the shots (reportedly she and Abrams wanted more time to complete TFA and Iger forced (ha) them to complete it by Christmas.
Money bet placed here now--it won't get any better after she goes. Disney is on a social engineering agenda, not an entertainment one.

Yes, that the owners and financiers of a massive company would make creative decisions based on what they like is a real conspiracy. A factual one. The alternative is that they are standing around going: "oh dear, why oh why did we hire Kathleen Kennedy. We are stuck with her for another year. Woe is we." I'll keep to the belief that management pick people that carry out their interests.

apparently spreading lies too Confirmation Bias. I've already refuted your claims multiple times using logic/facts. It's OK to admit you're wrong sometimes. There's no shame in it. I'm not going to rub it in if you do. You can keep thinking Kennedy is great at her job despite her mistakes. However, she has been responsible for the things I listed earlier.
