No, the thread stays open as a monument to the OP's gullibility and thirstiness. Hee hee hee... It was a concern that MCU may be teetering on the same SJW agenda that has ruined the Star wars brand since The last jedi. There is a discussion to be had. Well I'm actually worried about Avengers 4 making Captian Marvel a Mary Sue that defeats Thanos on her own. Hopefully Marvel doesn't teeter towards that like Star Wars did.

Yes, there is a discussion to be had, but you lack the diplomacy and critical analysis skills needed to participate in it let alone conduct it in anything resembling an ethical manner. I have the same worries, especially when the MCU announced that Captain Marvel was going to be their most powerful hero. I mean, I don't mind her being the most powerful as long as it makes sense. Making her the most powerful just because they want to make her the most powerful is going to push her into Mary Sue category.

Based on what I've seen in some comics she shouldn't be that powerful.

Rey came from nowhere and knew nothing yet she managed to defeat a highly skilled force practitioner without the benefit of any training. How many years do you have to spend in Earth's Air Force as a fighter pilot attaining the rank of Major before the Mary Sue effect is discounted? How many decades do you have to spend conscripted into an alien race's army fighting their blood enemy before you can be considered skilled or qualified enough to take on an intergalactic warlord? Are you genuinely worried that Carol Danvers will step out of the Air Force Academy as an Airman Basic and sock Thanos on the jaw thus singlehandedly ending the conflict?

Based on what I've seen in some comics she shouldn't be that powerful. Depends on which version of her but yes, she's usually a middle-tier powerhouse in the comics. Around Ironman's level. Decently powerful but nowhere near top-tier powerhouses like Thor, Dr. Strange or Scarlet Witch.

Maybe Mary Sue was the wrong term I just don't want her to reduce Thanos to a punching bag at the end like what Superman did to Steppenwolf in Justice league. I doubt she will come out as an a Airman Basic and sock Thanos on the jaw ending the conflict.

I think Feige is more aware and in touch with the public than Kathleen Kennedy so i dont think well see that mistake again.

Are Disney trying to push their SJW, feminist mantra of unearned strong independent women that weve seen in Star Wars or is this a fuss over nothing because no one cares for this film? Neither. You forgot to add the 3rd option which is that you're a troll trying to stir up the pot yet again. I'll go with the 3rd option.

I don't understand what he's mad about. Please don't tell me it's having a woman on a poster. Hes mad cos antman is posed behind the wasp signifying female dominance. Traditionally on movie action posters its the other way round, the male hero is at the front. Yeah, that's what I thought it was. So basically what I'm hearing is that the male ego cant: A) ...take it that he's upstaged by a woman B) ...understand that its just ONE poster C) ...understand that it's kind've a joke alluding to the fact that AntMan is kinda wimpy and these movies are kinda comedies D) ...understand that they put the woman up front in this poster because they're trying to promote her as a character since, you know, in the last movie it was just him alone... and E) ...WHO GIVES A FUCK?!?!?
G R O W U P !
The male dominated world isn't falling apart. It just seems that way... to the stupid.

Michael P. Shipley @michaelpshipley This is the future the liberals are planning for you. Women are men and men are women. #AntManAndTheWasp 1:38 PM - Jun 2, 2018 Women are men and men are women? Well this guy's neither. He's a whole 'nother race. We call them ignorant assholes.

C) ...understand that it's kind've a joke alluding to the fact that AntMan is kinda wimpy and these movies are kinda comedies I agree with this explanation. Antman is a goofy character whilst Wasp is the sensible, assured one. That tweeter probably didn't know the context or ignored it.

Lol, any man should have enough confidence in himself to not feel diminished just because he's standing behind a woman. What nonsense. I will say though the the person front-and-center in the poster should be the main character.... in this case this poster suggests that Wasp is the main character and not Ant-Man, and if that's the case then it's fine. However, if Ant-man is supposed to be the main character then this poster is off. Not bad, just weird. I would agree if the movie weren't titled Ant Man AND Wasp, so...

Maybe, if you're ashamed of women. They're emphasizing Wasp because she will likely be a big part of this movie's appeal. Hell, she's certainly the main reason I'm excited to see the movie. Is there a trend in Hollywood to feature more women and minorities? Yes. But why is that bad? Are studios trying to capitalize on this trend? Yes, and that's why she's front and center. Is it meant to demean Ant Man simply because he is male? No. Is it a massive SJW conspiracy to cut our testicles off? Eh, probably not.... PREACH, YOU BEAUTIFUL FUCKING BLUE FISHY SMELLING AQUATIC MUTHA#%&@# YOU!
PREEEEEEEEEACH!

WHY are you so chummy with DC-Fan so much? You do realize he's either a troll who likes to get people riled up for kicks or a really slow minded, immature buffoon. Not the kind of guy you'd want on your side, just saying... I have no beef with DC fan. He may post biased reviews and create the odd bait thread that people choose to get triggered over, but thats no where as bad as the actions of other posters here past and present. DC fan never uses profanity, doesn't personally attack or insult others, never loses his cool, isnt racist, doesnt derail threads and doesnt doxx users he doesn't like.
And in that post you specifically quoted, I cant disagree with what he said. Ive noticed it is often true that MCU fans dont like being asked too many questions, otherwise you're probably are going to be called something very unsavoury. Wait... YOU actually ARE DCfan, aren't you?! Son of a...!!!
