Hi, I am an orphan from the IMDB messageboard. Soon a lot of my brothers and sisters will follow hopefully. We like to discuss the puzzles , the Blacklist brings us. Last episodes, it became clear Red is under attack by somebody. Others speculated that it might be Mr. Kaplan or Mr. Kaplan's sister. May be Katerina. I am wondering too who is behind this thread, and strangely, I can only come up with women. My guess is, it is Jennifer. She is mentioned in season 2, and it remaind unsure where she is, or what happened to her. One of many loose ends, so to speak. In season 2 when her name came up, Naomi said to Red:"She knew that one day you would be coming for her...."which sounded kind of omminous. She supposes to be his doughter, and that would not have been the frase I would have used. So my guess is Jennifer has a score to settle with Red and is behind these attacks.

Hi, I used to follow IMDB message boards and I hope this will be a good replacement.
All the women above mentioned could be the suspect but it depends on how long the authors will carry things so far.
They could sort out a very brand new villain just to scramble things out

I don't think it's Mr Kaplan, I think she's content with keeping her distance, at least for now.

Do you believe that it was really Dembe that poisoned Red? I don't. The doctor said that Dembe was the one who brought Red in for treatment. If Dembe was trying to kill him, he would have just left him somewhere. Maybe someone has kidnapped Dembe daughter and her kid again and forced Dembe to put the poison in the scotch, but I don't think Dembe is going to turn out to be the bad guy. I think Dembe took Red for medical treatment and now he's looking for the bad guy.
I think Lulu, the lady in the trunk, was a plant. She was way too helpful to just be the neighbor who stuck her nose in. She wasn't Dembe's daughter, was she?
I think it's going to turn out to be the guy with the curly hair, Red's associate that he met with in the restaurant before the French guy was attacked. Red told him he was sending the French guy and his wife to Monaco. I don't have any solid evidence, but the guy with the curly hair feels a lot like the first guy that betrayed Red - I don't remember his name, the one that Red strangled. The guy with the curly was one of the eleven. He was the one that joked about strangling Red.
I hope Mr. Kaplan is going to show up to save Red and prove that Dembe isn't the bad guy.

I stopped watching that show after Elizabeth 'died' and they kept bringing Tom back. Hate that fucking character.

Love The Blacklist. After seeing Spader as RED I can not imagine anyone else in the role. I would love to know who was on the shortlist to play Reddington.
Tom Keen: I hated him at first, always distrusted the mousy school teacher husband he was pretending to be. He then grew on me and started to like him.
Elizabeth Keen: I do not like much. I think it is because she is too whiny. When she was "dead" I had a feeling that she really wasn't even though they wanted you to think she was.
Agent Ressler: I just don't like too straight-laced by the book. A typical suit.
Cooper: Eh I can take or leave him
Aram: Didn't like him at first but his smarts is what saves their bacon from the fire most often.
Agent Navabi: Love her she has a good read on the other characters and their moods, and emotions.
Dembi: What is not to like about him. He is the very definition of loyalty. I do not like the implication of him being the one behind poisoning Red.

They are both too loyal to Red. even after what Red did to kaplan- Kaplan lied to red - made him think liz died. We all know Red is liz's father so making someone believe your daughter died- even to protect her- is pretty cold. I know Kaplan did it to save her but still Red had a right to react- he just overreacted.

Did anyone see the spinoff yet? I am debating whether to watch it or not- it looks boring without Spader.

I'd say "The Blacklist Redemption" quite not bad so far. Although only after 4 episodes, it's hard to have a strongly based opinion

I stopped watching that show after Elizabeth 'died' and they kept bringing Tom back. Hate that fucking character. I used to watch The Blacklist with a friend and he stopped watching with me because it had gotten so bad. Tom missing from the last episode made it feel like the old Blacklist again. I hope his stupid show does well and he never comes back and if it's a flop please kill Tom and let it NOT be Red's fault!

OK I'm really really bored by all this situation between Mr. Kaplan and Red. I do not care about her complaints, "Red is doing this, Red is doing that". The man is a criminal and you knew it, you helped him a lot, and then you turned against him and you took a bullet.
You want to do a great thing for Liz ? Tell her the truth. You don't ? Then it's all old rust

Lol, it's funny how there seems to be such a widespread opinion on The Blacklist...well pretty much any show on tv. It's a wonder how any show lasts. I'm pretty easygoing when it comes to tv viewing. When I like a show, it's very difficult for them to do much for me to stop watching. The Blacklist, I like it all. I don't mind Tom. Like Redemtion, & I think he does fit better on that show. What I like most about The Blacklist, besides Spader, is they bring back characters. Even if from previous seasons, even in just mentioning them as in the graveyard/ice rink now. And in case you have not been watching, there's a "memory" issue going on right now. And now the writers can screw around with their pasts without wondering about continuity. ie, Red said one thing about her past, & Kaplan is saying something else.....hmmm...who's telling the truth.

I like the Red parts of the show but I'm getting tired of Liz being hateful to Red. She is very accepting of Tom even though he is just as bad.
