How come when I hit the "New" icon link it doesn't take me to the most latest post in that thread? Fix it, please.

If the entire thread is new to you, it will take you to the first post of the thread.

I'm not experiencing that at all. If I let a thread go on for a bit and click new, it will take me to the newest post I haven't yet seen. Are you shutting down your browser when you walk away?

I've been testing it since you brought it up. Every time, it has brought me to the newest post I haven't seen yet. I can't replicate your problem. It's certainly not what is supposed to happen because I checked their support boards and this was reported as a bug: support.proboards.com/thread/640004/new-button-working-buttons But that was fixed long ago. It's likewise possible in your case that it's a browser problem and/or something broken on their end.

That's what I want. But it doesn't do it. It doesn't take me to the most recent post. Maybe my posting on a Android smartphone might have something to do with the glitch.

Well it only takes you to the most recent post ON THAT PAGE. So if you posted something on page 2 of a thread and three other people post things after you but only the next two posts make it onto the page with your last post, it will take you to the last post on page 2. You then manually have to go to page 3 to see the most, MOST recent post.
