You've got a shit taste in movies.
From Mr. Jackson's fantastic filmography, I have to go with 'Fellowship of the Ring.'

Fellowship. IMHO, the Hobbit films are nearly unwatchable. I think they are so entertaining as to be rewatchable. Highly enjoyable adventure movies. They're flawed, as with most adventure movies, but I never got the hate.

I'll let you know when I finish watching one of his movies. I still have 4 farewell scenes to get through on the latest one.

Battle of the Five Armies is just okay imo. I liked 5 Armies more than the second one which was near ruined by the elf/dwarf romance. I also saw no point in them ending the movie with a silly cliffhanger. We had to listen to a lot of dragon monologuing, we should have seen the total payoff. The first one is my favorite though.

Lets take a gander at this sad sad excuse for a director Sad, sad excuse for a director? What have you done lately? His imagination and passion as regards his first three movies is bursting at the seams, and "Heavenly Creatures" is an excellent, A-list movie. Not to mention Jackson won some Oscars. Ha ha, ho ho... Jackson gets to have it BOTH ways. Though I do enjoy wondering if those who lauded him for his more recent award winning movies have ever seen "Dead Alive" or "Meet the Feebles". They would crap their pants. My vote would be a tie: "Meet the Feebles" and "Dead Alive" You need to reword your OP. Peter Jackson is an excellent film director whom YOU don't particularly like.

I love the dragon monologuing (I could have watched him pace and talk for an entire movie), I like the elf romance and I like the cliffhanger. My problem with Battle is that the writing and directing of the first 30 minutes is very clunky and the fact that the movie offers nothing new. The first one is my favorite too.

Yes, because I am sure there are no critically acclaimed directors you don't think are good. The OP likes to take jabs at stuff she doesn't like. We all do that, it's just that you are being a hypocrite in this case because you disagree. I say this as a fan of Peter Jackson. Let the OP have that jab. We all know what it feels like to hate something that most people like.
