He was on Dan Patrick saying he thinks LeBron, Paul George, and Chris Paul will all go there. Would those three and a healthy Porzingis be better than the Celtics at full strength?

Only the Lakers can afford that package. They could afford 2 of them, Not All 3.

I now can't wait for this to be over. God we are gonna get scenarios for weeks! I know I know even I MADE a thread about it...but watching sports shows and ESPN this is all theyre discussing. I admit it's interesting where everyone can land. Man....it shows baseball doesn't have the appeal it once did.

That would be a bet that Reggie Miller would lose money on.
Among other considerations, those guys aren't going to say, "Yeah, let's pay the taxes we'd have to pay by playing in New York."

They could afford 2 of them, Not All 3. Lebron doesn't need the max with his wealth, and I can see the other guys taking less for a super team. This is my thinking with the Sixers as well. Redick got loaded with a 1 year deal for like $22 or $23 mil. Rumor is there was a handshake deal under the table he'd resign for much less. Wouldn't you want a chance to win a title with LeBron? Think the same goes for Ily and Beli re-inking here if James signs. Gone are TLC, Bayless and his horrible contract (don't know how they're going to pawn that off on somebody but it's the last year - maybe throw in a couple of 2nd rounders to get him out of here), maybe Holmes (I like the kid but he's a 'dumb' player ala Nerlens Noel) - maybe Justin Anderson - I like his hustle - but if you can fill these 4 roles with above average vets willing to work at a paycut willing to win a championship/upcoming draft pick(s) - I'm in.

As much as I love the Heat (I grew up in Miami) and I'd like to have LeBron back on the team again, I'm kind of hoping he doesn't go back to Miami (I don't think he would, but unsurprisingly, there's speculation in the Miami sports media about it), just because:
(a) when LeBron left Miami, it pissed my mom off enough that she hates LeBron now--despite the fact that she was born in and lived in Cleveland until she was in her 30s (part of it might be that she basically hates Cleveland in general now, too--I've tried to get her to go back, especially with my wife and me, for a visit, partially because we still have a ton of relatives in Cleveland and throughout Ohio, but she won't do it; she hasn't been to Ohio since her last visit in the 80s)
(b) My mom said that if LeBron were to return to the Heat, she'd never watch a basketball game again, and
(c) I like talking sports with my parents, I like taking my folks to Heat games when I visit them, etc., and for some bizarre reason, my mom is concerned enough with hating LeBron now that it almost seems like it affects her health. My dad just thinks she's crazy when it comes to this, but he stays quiet about it. She was already a pain in the butt enough about the playoffs and Finals, especially because I was rooting for the Cavs (as was my dad). She was miserable every time the Cavs would win.
So LeBron back on the Heat would be a nightmare for that.

I strongly doubt that LeBron James would want to be Teammates again with Isiah Thomas. I think that James will really either stay in Cleveland or go to Philadelphia or San Antonio.
