Is Cheetah supposed to be Wonder Woman's main enemy?
Batman has Joker and Super had Lex Luthor but Wonder Woman never seemed to have a main enemy that's well known.

I still can't imagine Wiig as Cheetah. She just looks so wrong for the part. Here's hoping I'm wrong.

I think they generally go back and forth between Ares and Cheetah. And Skaathar I agree. Not my first choice at all;hell, Sarah Paulson wasn't my third choice but I'd rather have her instead. Hope it's not another fiasco like Lex Zuckerberg.

I am still not sure if Kristen Wiig is the best actress for the role of Cheetah but I will give her a chance and hope everything turns out to be good so we can get a third movie with Wonder Girl and Silver Swan, Circe or Decay as the villain. I vote for 6 'Wonder Woman' movies so all her biggest villains can finally get a chance on screen.

And I said the exact same thing when Eisenberg was cast as Lex or Berry was cast as Catwoman and Miller was cast as Flash and Arnold was cast as Mr. Freeze. As far as I'm concerned, Ledger as Joker and Keaton as Batman were anomalies. Most casting choices that look really bad on paper usually ends up being bad on screen too. I hope Wiig is another anomaly.

He also works as a forensic scientist. Yes, but Barry Allen doesn't look like an emo-nerd and is not a bumbling, jittery guy. Let me break it down: Miller doesn't look like the character. Did not act like the character. Did not bring anything new to the table to make us like the character. In short, there was really nothing positive to say about his casting. Was it as bad as Eisenberg? No. Still, when there's nothing good to say about your casting choice then that still makes it a bad casting choice. Ledger's Joker didn't exactly look and act like his character either but he at least brought something new for us to love about his character.

Are we really going to go there, especially when he was the movie’s comic relief? How was he an emo?

Is Cheetah supposed to be Wonder Woman's main enemy? Batman has Joker and Super had Lex Luthor but Wonder Woman never seemed to have a main enemy that's well known. Classically speaking it is Cheetah. They even used her as the main villain in the Super Friends cartoon and Justice League Unlimited cartoon as her main villain, thus pretty much cementing it in stone.
BUT, since the 1980s Post Crisis on Infinite Earths George Perez reboot of her title (the beginning of her modern and current interpretation) the main villain has been more a bounce between Ares and Circe.
And furthermore, since the more recent New 52, it has definitely been Ares.
My preference, and WW's true best challenge, has always been Circe. Cheetah is too weak to be a real challenge and Ares is a freaking god for crying out loud. In the comics she's never beat him the way she did in the movie. That "godkiller" thing was something they gave her in the movie so she'd logically have a chance against him.
Circe is just the right amount of challenge. Not weak at all, and just powerful enough to beat Wonder Woman, but not insurmountably so. If this franchise earns a 3rd movie I'd be surprised if they didn't use Circe as the main villain.

Are we really going to go there, especially when he was the movie’s comic relief? How was he an emo? I understand your points about Miller, but we'll have to agree to disagree. I had my reservations about him too when I found out he was cast, but it turned out ok and I was glad to be wrong. I thought he was one of the few bright spots of the whole movie.
Yes, they played him differently, but to great effect as comic relief. I can almost already see what a solo movie with him as Flash would be like.
I think it was most likely a conscious decision to play him different since there's a very popular TV show on right now that shows a different, maybe more accurate(?), version.
