But not using the actual orators, right? Or the countless real historical figures? I think on a movie forum using a cultural work is more appropriate and also less boring. After all, in movie forums, no one ever discusses the writers or directors.

As do I. But I wouldn't use an apple to describe an orange. Not what happened. You implied Greeks could not be blonde or blue eyed. This was an error on your part but the most fitting way to debunk it was to go right to the Greeks most famous work of literature. For the Greek audience in Homer's time, him referencing the grey eyes of Athena was not a negative, it was the opposite. Why you persist in the topic is beyond me. You made an error-it happens.
I might as well be discussing fruit crops now.

Incorrect. I specifically stated Athena was fictional. I didn't know it'd be impossible for you to use a historical person to prove your point. That was my error. I'll be sure to expect less from you from now on. Perhaps we can use Scooby Doo to discuss the intricacies of the counter culture movement in the 70s.

You just compared a work of epic poetry considered one of the greatest literary works in the ancient world, to a Saturday morning cartoon, which shows you have not read the Iliad and do not understand why I referenced it. You are way out of your field of understanding and knowledge and have now fully revealed that you are incapable of grasping the discussion which you unwisely injected yourself into.

Using fiction to prove reality. It's right up your alley. I think it's you who doesn't understand your own references.

Yes it was feminist propaganda. Fieg proudly states he’s a feminist.
People saying “if Gb 2016 is propaganda then so is the original” are ridiculous.
The original had zero political message. None. It was just a movie about guys fighting ghosts.
The new one specifically picked 4 women to make a feminist point. They specifically made the male receptionist incredibly dumb cheesecake. Janeane wasn’t dumb and she wasn’t cheesecake in the original.
The new one was “girl power” propaganda, thus the ridiculous section scenes, making makes in the film look bad etc.
The girls forgot to be funny though, so it bombed.
