Was anyone else forced to watch the VHS recording of this play as a young child? The religion-based daycare I used to attend would gather us all into the main room and turn it on; it used to terrify us. Seeing Satan tear a mother from her child's arms and be dragged kicking and screaming into hell, as said child cries and screams for her to come back, was one of my most distressing early memories. It still upsets me to watch. Storytime aside, has anyone else seen the play? Recorded or live? As an adult or child? What do you think of solely using scare tactics to terrify people into conversion? Do the ends justify the means?

Never heard of it before...
Just Skimmed through it on Youtube...
Not sure what to say really... belief through fear, a literal pearly gates, and a devil and fiery pit of hell...
It's all a bit, well, medieval...
