Gorgeous, experimental masterpiece from Michelangelo Antonioni. Good picture, Petro. I've never seen the film. Interesting similarities between Harris and Vitti: they had the same coloring and vaguely resemble one another, in the picture anyway. Thanks - credit to delon for the picture - I just reposted it).

He was in a lot of good movies. A Man Called Horse 1970, was one of those movies that I remember "everyone should see", mainly because of a ritualistic scene that everyone talked about. I thought it was a good movie. Shake Hands with the Devil 1959, one of his first movies, acting with James Cagney and Dana Wynter.

I've not seen 'Shake Hands With The Devil' but 'A Man Called Horse' inspired adventure specialist Umberto Lenzi's 'Deep River Savages' (1972), the Italian film most often credited with having birthed the "cannibale" subgenre, so it's an important and influential work for horror fans.

I remember seeing a matinee of A Man Called Horse, I was about five or six, and more than a little traumatized by that infamous scene...ah, the 70's we're a glorious time to be a kid, getting into violent movies, buying cigarettes, eating all the candy in the world...

Gotta love how both Dumbledores have a thread going on here at the same time!

Sounds like a Man in the Wilderness is highly regarded. I need to see it.
I do however, love Wild Geese.
