I just saw this, and it was really good. There are some fun easter eggs in it. It picks up immediately where the old one left off. Good plot and pace. My only complaint is that it didn't have enough Frozone or Edna.

I loved it. Almost as good as the original.

I loved it. Almost as good as the original. I loved the Poltergeist and MIB nods. Apparently the lune about Einstein was almost word for word from Ghostbusters. The house Violet's date comes out of at the end of the film looked like the Poltergeist house to me, but I could be wrong.

I just saw it. It had some good scenes, especially with Jack-Jack and his superpowers. 6/10.

There is one thing that had me iffy and apparently spoilers confirmed who I pegged as the villain.

I liked it. But found it predictable as to who the villain would be. Liked the villain, was kind of dark, wish we could have heard more about the worldview they possessed.
Action was great, but the last 20-30 minutes or so drained me lol. So much action, felt like I was watching a Michael Bay movie with LOUD NOISES.

Is it better than "Finding Dory"?

Is it better than "Finding Dory"? I thought the trailers for Incredibles 2 were better than Finding Dory.

I read about the movie not being recommended for epileptic people and damn I must say it was intense.
Otherwise I thought it missed a little something or simply the fact, as others said, that you could guess who was the ultimate bad guy really early spoiled it a bit.
Still enjoyable and a 7/10.

I was thoroughly entertained by this film and I really enjoyed watching it. That said, the movie was rather hollow and had a lot of lazy writing. It seems that those who felt the first Incredibles was too depressing and not funny enough are praising this sequel. For those of us that recognize the original as Pixar's boldest film and a genuine masterpiece, this sequel feels a little empty. Incredibles II was tasty junk food and I enjoyed it through out, but it's a bit of an empty shell compared to the first.

Possible third?
Following the release of Incredibles 2, director Brad Bird acknowledged that the film's truncated production schedule resulted in many plotlines and ideas he had for the film being cut from the final version. He cited Pixar's decision in October 2016 to swap the release dates of Toy Story 4 and Incredibles 2, which meant that Bird’s film lost a full year of production. Bird stated that the lingering plotlines could lead to a third installment, just as they did with the second. "There were a lot of ideas that we had on this film that could be [used]... whether it's another Incredibles film, or something else." Cast members including Samuel L. Jackson and Sophia Bush have expressed interest in reprising their roles. "I wouldn't ever rule it out," said producer John Walker of a potential threequel. "And if past is prologue, it'll be another 14 years — and a lot of people will probably need oxygen to make a third one."

The film had plenty of good ideas, it just didn't execute them all properly. It's a shame, someone like Brad Bird should always be given the full time to work his magic.

It's a bit aggravating that "Toy Story 4," an unnecessary sequel that a lot of people wish would get scrapped had to kinda ruin things for Bird.
