Which disappointing third installment do you prefer?
For me it's a very close one, but I'll go with Terminator 3. I actually like both BTW and find them to be underrated.

Jurassic Park III for me. I found it to be an enjoyable, if flawed, follow-up to the Spielberg movies. Not on the same level as those movies, but still...
Didn't care for Terminator 3. It felt like a bad rehash of Terminator 2 IMO.

JPIII, mainly because it wasn't disappointing given that TLW already sucked. JPIII was actually an improvement on that film, if for no other reason than being an hour shorter.
T3 had two great movies proceeding it, and it s**t the bed.

Same with JP3, and I agree it isn't as good as the first two.

III may be the more "fun" film, but it's just so lowbar storywise. T3 I always had a soft spot for, as I enjoyed it almost as much as the first two movies. And IMO, it's definitely better than the last two.

And IMO, it's definitely better than the last two. I've seen it at least 10 times, and disliked it on each occasion. I hate Sarah and Nick and how they're basically the villains of the movie but are portrayed as the heroes. I hate how they took Ian Malcolm, a fun supporting character in the original, and crowbarrwd him into the heroic lead role while basically making him a completely different character. I hate the tonal whiplash I get from the cheesy Spielberg moments and jokes followed by complete mean-spiritedness. And while III achieved what it set out to do, I feel like TLW is making some attempt at intelligence/having a message and failing hard. Picking the worst Terminator movie is impossible for me. As far as 4 and 5 go, at least they tried something different. 3 is just 2 with a different ending.

JP3 is just okay overall, but T3 kind of sucks.

JP3 is a tidy little 'Lost World' movie that doesn't overstay its welcome. T3 felt disposable, just as Hamilton put it.

Hated JP3 so definitely going with T3 here. What I really enjoyed about T3 was that it was basically one big chase sequence . The action was pretty badass imo
JP3 4/10
T3 7/10

Jurassic Park III
T2 was the perfect ending and then T3 had to ruin it.
The Lost World softened the blow of Jurassic Park III.

Terminator 3 (2003) ; hands down. ; it's one of the more underrated movies in general.
-T3 = 8/10 (it's my 2nd favorite terminator movie as I prefer the terminator series like this... 1)T1(9/10) 2)T3(8/10) 3)T5(6-6.5/10) 4)T2(6/10) 5)T4(5/10). T4 is the only one I don't like of the series.)
-JP3 = 5/10 (Thumbs Down. it's forgettable. the only one I don't like in the series so far. for the record... the 2nd movie is my favorite of the series and the only one good enough to be among my favorite movies in general)

T3 is my favorite Terminator film.
Jurassic Park III is the worst in the franchise. The characters were so annoying I was rooting for the Spinosaurus to kill them all.
T3>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>JP3

JURASSIC PARK III, no contest. Jurassic Park III was artistically the best of its series, which is why the dorks hate it so much. It works on stage first and as a film second, the way the best films must do.
JPIII was about the characters, credible characters in incredible circumstances. It was undeniably better than JPII in characters, since JPII was simply about "throw away" characters and "demi god characters". Way too Republican for a normal person.
All the Terminator movies suck, lets face it. I knew writers who I thought were dweebs who wrote better scripts for the idea than the Terminator, well before the first Terminator came out. That's how bad the Terminator series was.

T3 is a fuck of a lot better than that garbage of a kid who can't act worth shit with a shitty haircut in T2.
