Band of the Hand. Late 70s or early 80s. I am sure I stayed no longer than 15 minutes.

I was gonna walk out of Rob Zombie's Halloween II but I had friends still in the theater and I was their ride.

at the cinema...
Armageddon - 10 minutes
An early scene on an oil rig with Bruce Willis chasing after Ben Affleck with a shotgun was about as irritating as Hollywood action fare gets. Count me out.

Most recently I recorded Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows (2016) on TV, sat down to watch the recording and bailed after two minutes.

I walked out of The Great Gatsby (2013) about 45 minutes in. I finished it on DVD and the movie got much better shortly after the the 45 minute mark. I also walked out of Spider-Man: Homecoming and Suicide Squad towards the end of the movies. I had enough. Most recently Sucker Punch on DVD. I stopped paying attention about half way through. Same with Moulin Rouge (2001) and Warcraft.

Puss 'n Boots (2008) - A foreign mockbuster of the Puss character from the Shrek franchise. Can't remember when exactly I turned it off, but I thought it was laughably bad excrement. Prob 5-10 min.

Bailed pretty quick on ghost of mars, as soon as I saw some amateurish slow mo’s of a bunch of ‘scary’ folk who looked like rejects from a nu metal video

I managed the first 20-30 minutes of Halloween: Resurrection years ago. T'was aired on some TV channel. I could see how awful is was gonna be and bailed.

Very rarely do I do this, but one that sticks out is This Is 40. I watched the first 15-20 minutes which consisted of well-off white people complaining about the minutae of their repetitive, pointless lives and realized there were about two hours and twenty minutes to go. I stopped then and there.
I like to think I have a pretty good instinct for what I will enjoy, so it's very rare I get saddled with a dud.

Needless to say, that impression didn't last long.

The Lobster (2015) was on TV here last night. I recorded it because Rachel Weisz was in it and I'm a fan of hers, but I didn't make it far enough into the movie to see her, as I bailed after the opening scene.

I guess I should mention Exorcist II as well, but I didn’t bail out on it as quickly as I did with NOT-Puss n Boots

So far I've never walked out of a movie or refused to finish one when at home.

POTC: On Stranger Tides... what a missed opportunity from POTC 3 leaving us on lighter note with the tree of life or whatever. Instead, part 4 tried to reset the dramatic cues back to dark & gloomy... not to mention amateurish cgi visuals & gags.

As a huge fan of Michael Parks, I found a discounted DVD copy of his last film "Tusk." After about 10 minutes, I shut it down and threw the disk in the trash. Very disappointed that this actor went out on such a terrible film.
