Often, sometimes have a power trip (for no good reason) and micromanage things(for no good reason)! Not good.
I'm not singling anyone out any females that I've worked for , because every one of them were like that.

I was expecting the post to read, "Are hot."
Of course, that's because women in general are hot.

No, most are not hot. But most do the things I described.

I have only worked for one woman in my life and that was a bad experience but since it was just one I cant really make a jugment.

With me, it's pretty fair to say that it could be an 'internal factor' as you said. Ya, that could possibly be the problem with me specifically.

With me, it's pretty fair to say that it could be an 'internal factor' as you said. Ya, that could possibly be the problem with me specifically. yeah, it usually is like that with me. whenever I think "wow why does this keep happening to me" (like "why do I seem to attract certain kind of men" or "why does this always happen at work") the answer usually is "ITS YOU" And its you (and by you I mean me) because you are a certain way thus you keep entering similar patterns and attracting certain kind of people and behaviours. To your original question about women who get high on power and micro manage - I can see a correlation between women getting power hungry and women feeling like they have to prove themselves. I have seen it during my days as a corporate lawyer. And I myself worked as a lawyer in a male dominated field (IT related law in a technology company) and noticed that the women there are somewhat different than how I know women in normal life. I really think it is often connected with them thinking having to first prove they earned their place at the table. Micromanagement I think comes down to a certain type of person, regardless of gender.

It's because they think I'm stupid maybe. Also, I'm not even smart enough to win a discussion on how women micromanage and have a power trip, as proven by this thread. Duh.

Duh. i would go by observing how they trea others. do they micromanage your peers as well? then its not you, its them. do you micromanage only you while your peers feel they are given enough trust and space to do things independantly? well maybe a conversation with the boss on why she feels like she cannot trust you more/give you more independence would be advised. i would think that any /decent/ boss would like to see initiative from their reports asking to be given more independence / its a sign of growth of the employee. as a boss i most loved the employees i didnt hear from at all. no seriously if you ask for more independence and you are not given it then i would think its best to talk to her to find out why and what can you do to change that. if the answer is nothing or she is not willing to even discuss it then yeah she is a bad boss and there is not much you can do other than look for work elsewhere or wait till someone else is your new boss. good luck.

I agree that many bosses are on a power trip and micromanage for no good reason, but I wouldn't say that's specific to females.

I'm a cuck because I call it like I see it? Well let me ask you a question, are you afraid of being called a sexist if you say that generally females micromanage? Would you be afraid of 'calling it like you see it' and then reach the conclusion that females are more likely to micromanage than males? Are you just a guy that's afraid of appearing sexist so you then say that it's equal: females and males are just as likely to micromanage?
Are you really 'calling it like you see it' or are you just afraid of admitting how it really is in the work force?

Yes, I am calling it like I see it. Being a cuck would be if I said ALL female bosses can do no wrong and ALL male bosses are mean spirited assholes. The truth, at least in my experience, is that men and women both have a variety of personality types. Yes, I've had some female bosses who were downright bitches, but I've also had plenty who were fair and only rubbed their authority in your face when it was warranted. The same can be said of my male bosses.

I was expecting the post to read, "Are hot." Of course, that's because women in general are hot. That's another thing. The hot female bosses I've had tend to be much more friendly and fair minded than the, how should I say, not so attractive female bosses who often do seem disgustingly power hungry. And no, I am NOT thinking with my dick when I say that, it honestly has usually been the case in my experience.

However men typically go by logic, whereas women typically go by how they feel about something, so in those two instances who is more likely to micromanage? In your opinion?

well, my first year at my school we went through five principals. first one was retiring after like 40 years but stayed on to train the new principal. second one left after a month to become a superintendent {a job which she later lost and was demoted to the last thing she was tenured in which was teacher}. the third was this mouse of a woman who was more timid than the teach for America girls from Nebraska. the fourth one was a man who was wonderful. the fifth one was the [former?] head of special education who treated everyone, especially special needs individuals like crap.
the nicest one and the most effective one was the man.
however that does not mean that all women are shit and all men are awesome. i now have a principal and two ap's. the principal is a woman who is the biggest, stupidest stormtrooper there is [like who ties your shoes, stormtrooper]. the male ap is the biggest asshole, evil jedi knight ever known to man. the other ap is stressed often, takes her stress out on anyone who is there but when not stressed will go above and beyond the call of duty FOR you and the school.
so we have one evil man, one stressed woman and one idiot.
