I didn't. Did they do something similar? YES! ALMOST EXACTLY THE SAME THING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!3 The series 24 did too. They killed a major character in season five, then brought him back in season seven.

It was retroactively explained that he faked his own death. It was ridiculous. I should watch it (BSG)! I've heard great things!

Wha? How is that possible? PS You should watch BSG you would love it! It was retroactively explained that he faked his own death. It was ridiculous. I should watch it (BSG)! I've heard great things! TV Guide Magazine Matt Roush 100 One of TV’s boldest and best dramas. Boston Globe Joanna Weiss 100 This is a show about religion, politics, parent-child relationships, and the moral dilemmas of insurgency. San Jose Mercury News Charlie McCollum 100 One of TV's most invigorating and intellectually stimulating series.... provocative television that transcends its genre. Detroit Free Press Mike Duffy 100 Filled with strong writing, a colorful gallery of vivid characters and a rocking good mix of cool dialogue and explosive action, "Battlestar Galactica" rolls on as an intergalactic entertainment classic. Diane Werts 100 "Galactica" is so beautifully designed, shot, edited and acted that you can practically smell and taste its emotional validity. Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Rob Owen 100 "Battlestar Galactica" is one of the most politically relevant and necessarily bleak series on television today. San Francisco Chronicle Tim Goodman 100 "Battlestar Galactica" not only lives up to its sci-fi gold-standard reputation but also should be considered straight up as one of television's most appealing dramas, no matter the genre. Entertainment Weekly Ken Tucker 91 Any show that can accommodate decadent cruelty, tragic bravery, and political divisiveness is one you ought to be watching, frakkin' spaceships or not. Chicago Tribune Maureen Ryan 90 Provides an unpredictable, fascinating take on events dominating real-world headlines. Newark Star-Ledger Alan Sepinwall 90 The acting, writing and directing are superb. Seattle Post-Intelligencer Melanie McFarland 90 More relevant and biting than it has ever been.

BSG is indeed ver awesome. It’s one show I wish I had more access to. I haven’t pulled the trigger on dvds or anything but when the mood strikes I really want to.
I do have season 1 and maybe 2. I’d have to double check.

Just an FYI, there are many different DVD sets, make sure you watch the 2003 mini series first, otherwise you will be lost! There are also a few TV movies, which can actually be skipped, and saved until after you have watched seasons 1 thru 5.

Spooky Ghost Ackbar Hope you will stick around and become a permanent member of this board even you finish the entire GOT? Sure! Cool. I like your way of analysing things. You are relatively more neutral. I hope you will participate in other threads as well when you finish the episodes that have been aired already.

I look forward to delving into more fan reaction once I've caught up. I imagine there's lots of passion (and hatred) for all the major characters. It'll be fun to read.

But I take the credit of defeating CoolJGS☺. He could never match me and thus ran away from this board once and for all.

I hope I wasn't called back for another "Ned Flanders Stark is awesome" debate.
