Cons - Viewers can find the pacing deadly. For myself, had no issues with it. As with the pacing, the downright nasty tone can be off-putting to some.
Pros - The acting Direction Ennio Morricone's music. Pre-existing compositions or otherwise. Cinematography Samuel L. Jackson trolling Bruce Dern about his son is hilariously dark.

Cons Waaay too much use of the N word to the point it was overkill (come on Tarantino ) Waaay too long . Definitely didn't need to be 3 hours at all . Tarantino's voice over part as the narrator or whatever was stupid. He better not pull that shit with his next film .
Pros the setting was cool . acting was on point by everyone involved
7/10

Pros:
Tarantino, as usual, actually pokes fun at himself and the dorks who eat up his crap. Cons:
Contrived and predictable in the usual Hollywood formula way of killing off any person you could possibly relate with and leaving only a pack of demon wanna be types who aren't a bit interesting. This is not only dull and depressing, it also looks as contrived as it is.
No way to find it credible that the last two would be as street smart as they act. They're both brats who have always had their way. We could believe any of the many people who died before would realize that the woman and her people were lying about the number of people in her gang, but it doesn't ring even remotely possible with these two control freaks.
The rape scene doesn't work. Compare it to the rape scene of Pulp Fiction. Both are the "big scenes" of their respective movies. In Pulp, however, the one being raped gets to see a revenge upon the rapist, and so the scene has a dark humor. There's a powerful force being the victim. Here, there's just some weak kid with no hope against a demi god, and it isn't a bit funny to anyone but Beavis and Butthead. But then, that is the target audience of Hollywood.
The shifts in time doesn't help the movie at all. Doesn't hurt, because the movie is crappy any way, but it doesn't help. It doesn't fix anything. It looks like some hack writer trying to be coy or clever, and failing miserably.
It's a waste of some pretty big names.
THE HATEFUL EIGHT 2/10.

Con - Too long and it's self-indulgent for Tarantino. There are times his characters talk too much since he's so in love with his dialogue.

My favorite critique of the film is "a 70mm presentation set in a cabin." LOL

Pros:
Old Western style film ratio and opening sequence. The sets, and visual style. The acting.
Cons:
Plot was too think with too much filler dialogue. Film could have been more effective at 1 hour and 45 minutes. If a movie can be better cut in half, you have a problem. I don't mind a film being long and pacing being slow if it's good. Predictable story.
