Technically there is still a chance for Egypt. Almost impossible though... True, but for that Uruguay has to lose against the Saudis. And then Egypt needs to beat the Saudis whilst Uruguay also loses against Russia. And Egypt needs to score more than Uruguay and the Saudis. It pretty much ends after the next match, there's no chance in hell that Uruguay is going to lose. Maybe, and even that's a longshot, they tie. But that's not good enough for Egypt. But true, there is still a chance for Egypt. They don't even need to lose. A tie between the Saudis and Uruguay puts Egypt out of the World Cup

I just checked and if Portugal & Argentina both finish 2nd or 1st in their respective poules they could meet each other in the quarter finals.

I just saw the absolutely shameful displays of simulation by Pepe and Cristiano Ronaldo at the end of the match. Now that FIFA has accepted the principle of video review, there is no excuse for allowing that sort of thing to go unpunished. A one-game suspension should teach them.
