Cape Fear remake Jessica Lange didn't count this one in as it was not mentioned in the contest, Linda That's okay. Don't think I needed that point. I just wanted an excuse to mention I had to tell her that her purse had fallen on the floor at the Tony Awards dinner. I was afraid to pick it up for her cause I didn't want to be accused of stealing it.

I am afraid I might have had a bit of an unfair advantage, having had to coach a friend on Peck films when she was dating his son, Steve. That is how was I able to come up with the Kenneth Tobey answer, as she spent a day visiting him with Steve. One Christmas, she had dinner at the Peck household, and amongst her fellow guests were Jennifer Jones, Louis Jourdan and Angie Dickenson.

Seems like it was preordained that Linda would win this one. I feel good about her victory. Thank you for the game, Matt. Once again, my job jammed any hope of me really playing. I would quit if I didn't have to pay for the internet to play Garth Games. It's a Catch-22. About 20 years ago, I had the pleasure of seeing Peck speak in Berkeley, California. He was reflecting on his life and career and was filled with so many wonderful stories. He was as charismatic, charming and funny as you could hope he would be. He literally brought tears to my eyes and I loved every minute of it. In all of Hollywood history, Gregory Peck was the cream of the crop.

Just in case anyone is interested, Amazon is selling TO KILL A MOCKINBIRD 50th Anniversary DVD for $7.50 and it include the documentary A CONVERSATION WITH GREGORY PECK, which is worth the price all by itself.
And thanks for the contest. Marshamae and I are hoping for the day you do a Cary Grant Quiz. It could be brutal!

Right linda. Over Cary it’s a fight to the death , battle axes at the ready , swinging those iron balls with spikes ..... you know what I mean. Anyway I’ve actually seen all but Cary’s earliest films. When I’ve actually seen the film it’s a help

Anyway I’ve actually seen all but Cary’s earliest films. When I’ve actually seen the film it’s a help I think I am down to 2 films I haven't seen some part of in the past. I finally got a copy of MADAME BUTTERFLY. His early Paramount films used to be shown on TV about 50 years ago, but it has been years since I have seen THE EAGLE AND THE HAWK, GAMBLING SHIP or THE LAST OUTPOST. Never got the chance to see Cary in person. He was probably at Hollywood Park Racetrack at the same time I was, but I did get to see the huge picture of him in The Cary Grant Pavilion, which is now history. A football stadium is going in there.
