Now for the opposite side. Which fan favourite horror sequel is your favourite?
Of the list I made, I went with other and it's Curse of Chucky. Though, of the ones directly mentioned, Evil Dead II would be the best.

Sadly for your poll I chose "other", and that other is The Bride of Frankenstein 1935.
I've only seen Evil Dead II and The Dream Warriors on your poll, and they belong to my "funny to have seen list" of movies.
Evil Dead II is scary, entertaining and totally nuts, but I've never seen Part 1...

And you should definitely watch the first Evil Dead, it's great.

This one's kinda tough. I agree about Bride of Frankenstein. That or Dawn of the Dead would probably be the best of the bunch. But if I'm honest about what my favorite would be, the one I'd most readily watch, probably Evil Dead 2. But there are some other contenders there.

For me, it's a tie between Dawn of the Dead '78 and Phantasm II. Both are superior to the movies that preceded them - though Dawn is naturally the more iconic of the two.

Believe it or not, the Romero Dead franchise is still on my watchlist, as I've still yet to see any of them. Though I did see the DotD remake from 2004, which I thought was really good.

Dawn of the Dead. hm Aliens. I was thinking about including Aliens but it was technically more of action so I kept it out. Not a bad choice, however.

Would strongly recommend the first two. Old-fashioned, of course (especially the 1968 film), but in a good way. The third tends to divide people. Personally wasn't a fan due to...ah well, I won't say for fear of spoilers. Good make-up though. The 2004 film was one of the century's finest horror remakes.

It's becoming very tired under my radar haha.

Friday the 13th Part II, a great sequel, and better than the first. Some of the best kills in the series, and I'll be damned if that pillow case isn't scarier than the goalie mask.

Exorcist III.
One of the few that regard it better than the original.
Eerie/Creepy - great score, terrific atmosphere. Tremendous Mystery/Crime/Thriller/Drama/Horror/Suspense movie.
Own the book 'Legion' by Blatty too - both are worth a watch/read every year or so.

I like Part 2 but I don't think it's anywhere near as good as Part 1. It just feels more like a retread of what came before. But yeah the pillow case/potato sack mask is pretty damn creepy.

Then again, that may be because I couldn't even get through the entirety of the second one. But this one looks promising.

Hell I hear people say it's the only good one, besides the original.
