Moviepass is a failed business plan. Part of the value and allure of movies is the inaccessibility, lack of frequency. But when you cheapen it with something like Moviepass, that is all gone.. really though, the main thing is the false advertising. They claim access to 90 % of cinemas but fail to mention that large screen prime showings are excluded. And now they require photos of the ticket stub which causes the app to crash every single time. They have not learned the age old lesson: just be upfront about it, and stop biting us in the ass with shit on the back end. What's so hard about being honest?
