good luck, Gameboy you would think 'religion' board would be a discussion of religion, but it truly is a board where people question religion. I think the same would happen with an LGBT board... it would become a board of people saying 'why are you like that'

They would go to that board like science lovers went to the science board.
But it would be a neat experiment to see if I'm right

But the Religion board here and on IMDb is and was always dominated by atheists who tried to shoot down any serious discussion of theology. I see theology as a branch of philosophy and though I may not accept a particular religion or any religion, I am fascinated by religion all the same. I welcome gay bashers on our new LGBT board. We fags are smart bastards and we have some sharp poignant retorts to the haters. We can handle them.

We can handle them. you have always been respectful to me and others about their religion, even though you are an atheist. I have always appreciated that you understand others have different beliefs than you. Most atheist posters are not as accepting. the gay bashing will get old...I rarely went to the religion board on imdb because one gets tired of the 'hate'...posters should be like you...accepting of others and yes, you are smart. very. I truly appreciate your intellect...but there are many others who will be baited into ridiculous arguments ______________________________________________________________________________________ separate topic ______________________________________________________________________________________ my mom died and I feel her presence often. I even feel her sit at the foot of my bed when I am alone... do you feel your mom? and it so, how do you reconcile that with your atheism.... If this is too personal, just forget it

I guess I am naïve, vernuf I thought it would be like Catholics talking about holy days of obligations; Mormons talking about the ancestors they had traced; Free Methodists telling why Jesus really drank grape juice, not wine; Baptists explaining why dancing is wrong, etc... all respectful... not "Christians you know how people can't believe you" it is not an exchange of religious beliefs, but rather people saying "no you are wrong" paint me naïve
