I don't get the code or where/how to use it. Run code for DOS? Its a single DOS command: FOR %a IN (a b c d e f g h i j k l m n o p q r s t u v w x y z) do dir /s/b "%a* %a* %a*.mp3"|FIND /v " - " You may have to tweak it to your file types and naming conventions. Some of my files include the artist's name which I exclude with the negative FIND. You can find a different set of files where the first word doesn't have to include the letter with "* %a* %a* %a*.mp3". Or I could ignore the artist by prepending " - " to the file skeleton for that set of files. I got so many good matches that I never bothered with the varations, but then I have 5,400 mp3 files. We can try this again some time with ONLY three words to keep it simple! Almost everything I post here comes from my mp3 collection.
