Yeah Bill Murray was fine... Beauty and the Beast (2017) zero interest Outland saw this ages ago i thought it was solid enough 6/10 El Dorado been too long but it was fine i guess I liked that in the end Outland becomes High Noon in space basically. Have you seen Rio Lobo? It's funny that Howard Hawks made and remade twice the same movie in 10 years. Pretty sure I've seen rio lobo too, I saw a lot of westerns when I was younger

In terms of film. Dumbo (1941, USA) - 8/10. Such a nice film. At 64 minutes it moves along quite quickly, yet still has time for the fascinating "Pink Elephants" sequence. hey Yeah Dumbo is an interesting one for sure. 6.5/10

Fail-Safe (1964) -first viewing- The premise of a technical failure causing a flight of bombers to set off to nuke Russia is a gripping one, but the actual story had so many contrivances and unbelievable elements that it felt like a "Twilight Zone" episode more than a realistic international thriller. At least it did feature one (unintentionally) hilarious bit when it was revealed that the Pres knew his wife was in NY City. 6.5/10
Trumbo (2015) - first viewing-- Interesting story of the blacklisted screenwriter's attempts to keep working during the red scare era. Excellent performances all around. 7/10
Vice (2015) - first viewing-- Leaving out the "West" part, the premise to this movie is identical to that of the HBO "Westworld" series. However, the story derived from that premise is mainly a bunch of running around interspersed with gun battles, so kind of a letdown. 5.5/10
Logan (2017) -- first viewing-- Fairly entertaining but very bleak story. Better than the last X-Men movie, at least! 7/10

It is all purposely exaggerated and eerie for theatrical effect and it works wonderfully. I didn't find the wife part funny btw. The movie was never intended to be a realistic thriller I don't think. It's main intention is to play on the audiences paranoia and fear on both technology and the government and I think it does that very well. It may have the most terrifying ending of all time as far as I'm concerned.

But for me, a very frustrating watch for believability reasons.

I watched Breakdown, Falling Down, Die Hard, Lethal Weapon, Indiana Jones, Hard Rain, Along Came a Spider. Falling Down - really fun, if you liked it you should check out The Swimmer Die Hard - the greatest action film of all time, great villain 8.5/10 Lethal Weapon- good buddy cop film 7.5/10 Indiana Jones- umm which one? I rate them chronologically 7/19, 7.5/10, 4/10, 1.5/10 Hard Rain - barely remember it, but i dont think it was any good Along Came a Spider - i can never remember which one is which between the two thrillers with freeman but they were both fine
