i could eat until i die... penne ala vodka. pizza [although i heard is not Italian]. my neighbors lasagna is outstanding.
MY marinara sauce. i dislike large bits of onion and or garlic so i almost puree them. same with the bits of tomato innards in sauce. i would also throw in a couple of table spoons of sugar. gives it that little extra pop and it isn't that much.
chicken parmesan. however i must stress the importance of accurately preparing the chicken. you must pound each breast to about a quarter of an inch or so. you also must remove any gristly bits. any tendons and non edible parts. [unfortunately there is a reason why i am writing this]
gnocchi.

ooh good topic. Just made wonderful fettuccini Alfredo at home. But used keto-pasta (made out of shirataki and tofu) instead of real pasta to get my carbs within the daily limit. But honestly, I love it just as much as the real thing. And the sauce is authentic Oh yeah, and I am gonna like every post in here cause I just love Italian cuisine so much. Go Italy!

I also love fettuccine Alfredo. Do you add shrimp to yours? I like it even better with shrimp added. Sometimes I add frozen peas to it also.

Shrimp scampi on butter & garlic pasta. I also make a lot of my own meat sauces (or gravy). Quite often I make it in a HUGE pot, I forget how many gallons it is, but it looks like something from a soup kitchen. Simmer it for hours and when it cools I freeze it in freezer bags. I know.....carbs, carbs, carbs. But if you make the pasta as al dente as you can stand it it is not bad for you. Pasta is one of my favorite foods and I'm not giving it up for anything. Damn, this thread is making me hungry. 😉

I dont eat meat so no shrimp for me, but I love adding peas or corn to it. Yummy. To be honest, had pasta alfredo for dinner last night and the leftovers for breakfast today. turns out its just as good cold.
