Closing match of group G in what should be a tasty tie, neither team really 'wants' to top the group and face tougher opposition but surely neither team wants to win either... England and Belgium both sit on 6 pts with the chance for one of them to take top spot.
Does Southgate change a lot of the team and just go for a draw or will he go for the win? I think he'll go all out to win, you can't set out to do anything else in a world cup after all. Belgium are dangerous going forward but Lukaku will be missing this one, that said they still have the likes of Batshuayi, Hazard, De Bruyne and Mertens.
2 - 1 to Belgium, should be good.

Southgate's made eight changes for this one. Not one of those eight is going to play at anything other than 100%, because they want to start next game. Forget permutations and who'll finish where, those guys will give their all.
I think we'll scare the pants off Belgium.

Second place in the group has a much tougher opponent in the next round (Colombia instead of Japan) but a much easier path to the final after that.
First place in the group has a (theoretically) easy round-of-16 appointment but harder quarter-final and semi-final.

Pickford didn’t need to make a save the entire first two games (minus the penalty versus Tunisia which he almost got a hand on) and it’s showing. He’s a disaster waiting to happen.
