England are definitely going to lose to Colombia. Kane masterclass + Lingard incoming.

That's the spirit! (I don't even know if any of that is factually correct, but whatever)

Not an enjoyable match to watch, but first Belgian victory against England in an official match in 80 or so years Still not proper revanche fir the world cup match in 1990, but it’s a start! I’ld like to believe that both teams will meet up in the finals again, but let’s not kid ourselves

Lee Dixon: Brazil are easily the best side in the tournament.

Lee Dixon: Brazil are easily the best side in the tournament. What does he know about football. He played for George Graham's one nil to the Arsenal, team.

If England loses against Columbia (which is more likely than losing against Japan), will Southgate still have a job after today’s performance?
It happened in 2016, when England lost against Iceland after not going for the first spot in the first round.

So people are upset with this performance despite the many changes, when losing gives England their best chance of making the semis? Would you rather they had played a blinder, won and had to get through Brazil?

He still has more wins at World Cups than Hodgson and Capello combined.
