If Kawhi Leonard truly does want to go to the Los Angeles Lakers Right Now then this below is what I think he should do.
1. Send Letters to Every NBA Team (except the Spurs & Lakers) informing them that if the Spurs trade him to them, He will not play for them regardless of his own health and will instead sit out the entire year.
2. Send a Letter to the San Antonio Spurs informing them that He will sit out the Entire Year regardless of his own health if the Spurs do not trade him to the Lakers and ONLY to the Lakers within a certain period of time (like in 24, 48, or 72 hours).
I think that if Kawhi Leonard did that then He would Most Definitely be taking Complete Control of the Whole Entire Situation away from the San Antonio Spurs and have it in his own hands.

He already has complete control. He’s made it clear he wants to be a Laker. If the Spurs trade him elsewhere he probably won’t resign. The downside of this is no team will give the Spurs what he’s worth.

I'm not convinced that he doesn't already have a serious attitude problem.

I'm not convinced that he doesn't already have a serious attitude problem. Exactly. Cringeworthy listening to sports talk in Philly right with all these dopes stating Saric, Covington, and 3 #1s isn't enough and to sweeten the pot to the Spurs. For a 1 year Rental - and no guarantee he'd resign here - in all likelihood he'd be off to the Lakers next year. I want no part of any of this. These dopes are willing to gut the team for this clown (i.e. add Fultz in there with the above).

Wait, oh yes wait a minute mister postman Wait, wait mister postman
Mister postman look and see Is there a letter from Kawhi for me? I been waiting since the trade deadline Since I heard from that Spur of mine
There must be some word today From my Spur player so far away Please Mister postman look and see If there's a letter, from Kawhi for me?
I been standing here waiting Mister postman Sooooooo patiently For just a card or just a letter Saying he's playing soon for me
Mister postman look and see Is there a letter from Kawhi for me? I been waiting since the trade deadline Since I heard from that Spur of mine
So many trades, you passed me by See the tear standing in my eye You didn't come, to make my team better By sending me, a card or a letter
So Mister postman look and see Is there a letter from Kawhi for me? I been waiting since the trade deadline Since I heard from that Spur of mine
You gotta trade him in it, trade him in it You gotta trade him in it, trade him in it You gotta trade him in it, trade him in it
You gotta check it and see, one more time for me
You gotta trade him in it, trade him in it You gotta trade him in it, trade him in it You gotta trade him in it, trade him in it
Deliver the letter, the sooner the better
You gotta trade him in it, trade him in it You gotta trade him in it, trade him in it You gotta trade him in it, trade him in it

Amen. They're going to be a top seed in the East. Stay the course. See what's available to fill out the roster (since Beli and Ily left - which hurts to me) this free agency - see what's going on with Fultz at the start of the year - keep your eyes open at the trade deadline - and see if you can land a big fish come next Free Agency Period next year which is including Klay amongst numerous others. Stay the course. Don't panic. Trust the Process

I think they should try to get Kyle Korver from the Cavs and bring him back to Philly.

I think they should try to get Kyle Korver from the Cavs and bring him back to Philly. True professional. Love the guy. That being said - he's getting up there in age - I'd love for him and Cov to come off the bench. That would have been the perfect scenario but it is what it is. I also think Saric (love his hustle and grit and was astonished at his 3 point touch last year) would be perfect as a 6th man. Last offseason was salivating at the thought of a Simmons, Fultz, future F.A. (or draft pick), future F.A. (or draft pick), Embiid starting lineup with the above three starring in the 2nd Unit for years to come That would be one deadly bench. All dependent on whether Fultz ever materializes too. We shall see what happens.

They also have a top pick in the draft next year thanks to that idiot ex gm.
