Most Definitely the Most Underrated Movie in the Whole Entire "SCREAM" Franchise!

I like it but I prefer the first two. I didnt like that Kirby got killed though. I liked her.

As a huge Scream fan (see avatar), I thought it was a mixed bag. The theme of an original character fighting a remake character trying to take their place is clever, but thats about it.
It's kind of a reverse of Scream 2. I thought Scream 2 went downhill toward the end, whereas the end of Scream 4 made up for an otherwise mediocre movie.

I thought it was pretty bad. I gave it another look this past winter and liked it even less. It just feels like an old man trying to be cool with the youths and just does not work.
As problematic as Scream 3 was, at least it had a logical conclusion. Bringing the characters out of retirement seemed unnecessary and gratuitous to me. Nothing about Scream 4 was fresh or exciting. It just felt so cynical and surreal.
I think I would've liked it better if they killed off one of the main three and let Alison Brie have more screentime.

If it'd had the balls to end the movie 5 minutes earlier I mightve liked it more than the first one. But that ending drops it down a peg.
Still great tho....second best of the series.

Now wait a second, That ending gave us 1 of the Best Lines out of All 4 Movies. It was when Sidney said to Jill "You Forgot The First Rule of Remakes Jill, Don't #### With The Original!".

My favourite of the sequels. I like the newly revised feel to it and the kills were excellent.

I personally consider it the finest slasher movie made this side of the year 2000 and the perfect sequel to the original flick. I'm glad Wes Craven's last movie turned out to be one of his best.
