I was going through all of my favorite films ever made (That I have seen) and I realized "Groundhog Day" has moved up quite a bit since I first saw it.
It has that rare quality that you're lucky to capture in a film. A balancing act between 'Comedy' 'Romance' 'Drama' 'Existential Philosophy' 'Meaning of Life' 'Action' and well acted, scripted, directed, etc...
It's about as perfect as a film can get, firing on all cylinders. I personally believe it's the perfect Bill Murray picture. It has hints of 80s Bill Murray Comedy, and it's transitioning into 90s/00's Existential Bill Murray.
I now have it listed #3 All Time in my top 5 as of Today. I just revised it.

I still need to see that. You won't regret the hour and a half of your time it will take to watch this film.

As well it should be.
Annual viewing here as close to THE DAY as possible and every viewing see something new or "get" it a little more.
"Keep trying until you get it right !"

It's basically flawless. Murray has never been better. A solid 10/10 from me.

Excellent movie. A Capra-esque comedy that has you saying "they don't make them like that any more."
