mattgarthA new popcorn machine was included in the budget and now they even have chairs (which closely resemble certain Intern Chairs reported to be among the missing ) !

So THAT's where they went!

mattgarth That re-upholstery class finally came in handy. Tell ya what... next time I win a Garth Game, I will use the prize money to furnish the entire Games Building ... including the DCC lounge... but I get to keep the 37 Intern Chairs.

Viewer comment about the above : The late Richard Attenborough once said in a TV interview that he loved the way movies could lift us up or make us cry or smile. He confessed that his favourite schmaltzy moment in all Cinema was Cagney tapping down those White House stairs !!

YANKEE DOODLE DAMDY has been on my favorite list since 1962. I can remember my mother came into my room and I was watching MY THREE SONS. She said that there was a film on the Million Dollar Movie that I might like. She was right! I watched it a few more times that week and every chance I got.
The last couple of years, I haven't been able to see it because when it was shown on TCM, it was one of the few movies that they were not allowed to stream. Thank goodness FilmStrick has it up this year, along with 21 other Cagney films.
