Better than Ant-Man, but that’s not saying much. Ghost sucked. The plot sucked. Bill Foster was good. Ant-Man’s daughter was good (nice to see a child actor who isn’t annoying).
It’s not offensively bad. But it just ended up falling into the Marvel cookie cutter. This was very generic and also very bland.
I bet the third one (if it’s made) will be the best. Two films in and it’s already pretty stale. Needs a change of writer and director.

Are you a fucking idiot or just slow? Love the way haters keep funding La Causa. Keep up the good work. Hee hee hee...

I also saw GOTG2 even though that was garbage. I’m sorry I didn’t like the film. 🤷🏼♂️

I’m simply critical of the MCU when it’s bad. And all too often it is.

What do you have to be sorry for? Or, are you just "sorry" in general? Was your post supposed to be some kind of review or analysis of film? If it was, it sucked and offered zero insight into what to expect positive or negative. And your excuse makes no sense. If you didn't like the first film in the franchise it stands to reason that a second film featuring the same characters and tone would be a waste of time and money for you. But, brave martyr that you are, you put yourself through a second helping of Ant-Man so you could come back down from the mountain with that bullshit you call a review? Smells like a classic hater troll to me... But, do you. And where are you that you saw the film one whole day before preview night? Hee hee hee... Like I said, keep up the good work.

The money is hardly an issue to me. Time? It was a couple of hours. I may even see it again. I like the MCU and Marvel in general. It wasn’t terrible. But it was pretty bad. And where did I see it? We had showings on Wednesday night. You’re not very good at this.

Are we competing at something? All I see is you saying things that make zero sense and me calling you out on it. You don't need to be 'good' at anything other than spotting bullshit to accomplish this feat. What the fuck does that mean? It was either good, bad or average. You do know the difference right? A film can't be 'not terrible' and 'pretty bad' at the same time. What are you trying to accomplish other than wasting my time which, unlike your own, is very valuable to me? PRO TIP: Think before you type your next string of nonsensically words or don't, I'm done with your trolling ass for today. You're on time out.

Obviously something can be ‘pretty bad’ but not ‘terrible’. They do not mean the same thing. And my opinion is not far from the general consensus. RT gives the film a 86% approval with an average rating of 6.9/10. So it is widely regarded as being of average quality. My opinion is that it’s marginally less than that. And I will see it again. I saw TFA twice yet I didn’t like it much. If you find that to be nonsensical then have it your way. I’m sure you will enjoy AM&TW.

Seeing the same kind of vibe for this from most user reviews. Still unsure if I will go see it, as Mission Impossible is out soon and I don't want to spend money for both.

There are different degrees of good, there are different degrees of bad and there are even different degrees of average. The Last Jedi was, to me, pretty bad. That doesn't mean I thought it was terrible. I thought the prequels were all terrible but I wouldn't lump The Last Jedi in with them. I thought you were one of the sensible ones around here. Don't be a fucking idiot.

If he doesn't like the movie then he just doesn't like the movie. There's no need to jump on him for it.
It was a quick opinion, not an essay. If he has seen the movie then be glad he's appropriately made threads specifying if it contained spoilers or non spoilers to be considerate of other people.

I'm worried that I will end up feeling the same.
I thought the first one was bland, ugly and boring, but had good action and great casting. I also loved the character in Civil War. I was/am really hoping that they step their game up for this one.
Basically, I really want to like it...
But, while positive, the reviews are not exactly glowing. Most seem to think the first one is better! Talk about a low bar!
