Pros - Great villain Bruce Campbell's cameo A hero whose problems we can still identify with The operating room scene is something straight out of Evil Dead The fight on the elevated train
Cons - MJ running out on her wedding without telling anybody makes her a horrible person. Aunt May's speeches.

Pros: -The way we feel sympathy for the villain makes him more relatable. -The train fight scene. -J. Jonah Jameson and his hysterical laugh. -When those people on the train stood up to Doc Ock. It gave that sense of teamwork.
Cons: -Never understood the whole "no powers" arc. Why did he lose them again? Don't remember, but even then it'd still be confusing. -Feels a bit worn out living up to the fast-paced and adrenaline-fueled 2002 original.

Pros:
- The train fight.
- Simmons' portrayal of J. Jonah Jameson as always.
- Alfred Molina's best performance as Doc Ock.
- Harry Osborn may be a douche but he's oddly sympathetic with his continued devotion to his father.
- Still the best Spider Man movie yet.
Cons:
- Dylan Baker is not yet The Lizard.
- Mary Jane's fiancé never reappearing in the series. I read later that he became Moonwolf(?). Imagine if in Spider-Man 3, he was the one who accidentally brought back Venom's symbiote from some space voyage instead of it randomly appearing next to Peter in Central Park.

Cons - MJ running out on her wedding without telling anybody makes her a horrible person. Aunt May's speeches. Pros: It continues to follow the Donner Superman Formula. Superman II he loses his powers to live a normal life and be with Lois. Peter loses his powers to live a normal life with MJ. Superman gets his powers back and cannot be with Lois. Peter gets his powers back and cannot be with MJ. It continues in Superman III. Evil Superman vs Good Superman. Black Spider-Man vs Good Spider-Man. lol.

Pro - Well, I guess the finest CBM post-Superman & pre-TDK is a thing.
Con - The more I re-watch it, the less evil Doc Ock feels & thus less tension.

pros: the increasingly hysterical and surprising reactions of Jameson. the very end when they waiting for the wedding to start... and waiting... and waiting... Jameson's head sticks out like hes waiting for a bus.
mj coming to her senses: she might have left someone delicious and successful but he had the looks of a spouse abuser. at least a yeller like his father.
the true pain the doc oc felt upon realizing that his creation killed his wife [whom he really loved]
willem defoe -- the visions. god those teeth. the longer the film goes on the bigger they get!
the ABSOLUTE AWESOMENESS of the riders on that train who saw Peter [they didn't know his real name] as Spidey and didn't say a word. no TMZ for them! wonderful. true new Yorkers. [something that these versions are thankfully known for]
cons: deleted scene of jameson putting the suit on... why in gods green earth was that deleted????
are you glad? are you glad? I am glad.
the basic douchebaggery of harry. so now he is Lex Luthor... all this money and power... can either go to college or run the company, who cares. if I were him I would make sure aunt may would be taken cared of, as well as peter and mj. take care of your friends. srsly. aunt may was like the closest thing he had to a mother figure. dumb shit.

Cons: the scientific improbability of containing a nuclear meltdown by dousing it in water.
Otherwise, pretty great superhero movie.

Pros - Excellent action, especially the train sequence.
Tobey as Spider-Man is great.
The building conflict between Harry and Peter is fantastic and the conclusion in Harry's penthouse to setup their future battle is great.
Alfred Molina as Doc Oc.
The overall inspiring and fun nature of the movie.
Peter's confession to Aunt May that he was essentially responsible for the death of Uncle Ben is pretty devastating.
Cons - It's overlong. All the powerless Spider-Man stuff drags when it's not the "Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head" scene.
The finale is pretty lackluster compared to the rest of the movie from an action standpoint.

Pros... they ain't horrible.
Cons... the series core problem is that all of them are forgettable (NOTE: I have not seen all of the Spider-Man movies, but most). but I guess that Spider-Man character is just not my cup of tea as they say which is why I just straight up avoid those movies at this point in time because I just know they won't be movies ill want to re-watch from time-to-time as that's my general goal in watching movies is to find ones ill want to re-watch from time-to-time as the years pass.

Pros:
- Great action set pieces and CGI effects. A vast improvement over the original movie in this regard. - Doc Ock proves to be an intimidating foe. - James Franco delivers a memorable performance.
Cons:
- Doc Ock is somewhat lacking in the personality and charisma department. - The showdown at the end where Peter has to save Mary Jane YET AGAIN feels very "been there, done that!" - Again, the love story elements are overwrought.
