I have some arthritis in the knees so I'm not supposed to do that. But then again, I never really wanted to to begin with

It seems very primal to me. I'd say that was part of the appeal when I was going regularly to dance clubs in the '70s; "primal" is a good word for it. I was also studying tap at the time, which is technical and not at all primal, but very satisfying when you get a combination down. And it's a great way to exercise: you don't realize how hard you've worked until the class is over. Never mastered double wings, though. Those are killers.

It's part of the mating ritual and a good way to meet women. I'm not a great dancer, but after a couple of drinks I wouldn't feel self-conscious. Once the discos faded away, there weren't many dance clubs left in my city. A lot of women like to dance. Anyone who sucks at it can at least slow dance. It's romantic. That's the only kind of dancing I do now.

The only kind I do now is the "'Don't Trip Over The Dog Or Step On the Kitties At Feeding Times' Ballet." It involves sudden leaps, pirouettes and changes following a general zig-zag pattern. Not as organized as anything Busby Berkeley ever conceived, but equally complex and totally improvised.

Does any guy actually like to dance? The only reason why you’d do it is to try to get girls, who all seem to love dancing.
Just dance like you don’t give a shit add in a two step and you’re good.

I love dancing. I am far from being a great dancer but that doesn't stop me and I often have music going here and dance around the house.

I'd suck at it and it isn't something that interests me.

I am extremely coordinated and have very smooth footwork! I have been known to get my groove on with all the ladies at Chadian presidential balls!
