Well, I don't have a lot of knowledge on the subject, so out of the few silent film stars that I know, I'd have to say Mae Murray from the Merry Widow . Even though she has 'bee stung' lips she might have been what people refer to today as a 'looker.'
However the quality of the picture of the movie in the version I watched was very off so I could be wrong about her looks, I couldn't make her out That well in that movie.

Sorry,I should have said what 'actress' would you consider to be more of a looker than any other actress from the silent film times. That's what I meant to say at the beginning.

Dolores Del Rio (though IMO she looked even better in the sound era)

I always thought Olive Thomas was very pretty and her life and tragic death would make a good movie, if it was done right. I esp like the idea that she still haunts the New Amsterdam Theatre in NY,

I'd have to stick with Garbo. Her style, which was all her own, transcended fashion, rendering it timeless.
