By the 24th it should be in the $470 range. If it has a similar opening in China as the first ($42m) by next Monday it should be $510m range.

So this won't have much trouble passing the original now that it's about to release in China.

I think my estimate of 510m by Monday will be low.

Marvel's trend of sequels making more than the previous movie is kind of astounding to be honest (save 1 movie). I've said it before but because of this trend by Marvel Studios younger family members didn't even know that is a new phenomenon. Remember when studios used to cut the budget, and just kinda coast on the previous movies box office. God the 70's 80's 90's were full of low budget sequels.

It was a given a big movie like Jaws would produce less with each sequel so 3 films were usually about as long as it could go. By 4 it was probably not going anywhere. Except horror. Horror can usually be made very cheap.

$545,519,820 so far.
Not exactly a big money maker, but it did make more than the first film, so there's that.

$594,897,458
Yep look like it was updated from the last time I looked at it.
It's done well. It may not be a billion dollar movie, but it definitely did well.
I wouldn't be surprised if Ant-Man 3 makes over 700-800 million. Especially after his appearance in Avengers 4.

Ok Mark Hughes from Forbes gains massive trust points for me from now on. He called this pretty much on point.

This is like what is happening right now in the city of Boston, New England. The people of Boston are finally waking up to the fact that ShadyBrady and his best friend Julian PEDelman (who was caught using PEDs) and all the Bill BeliChicken “DEFLATEriots," are cheaters in DeflateGate and utter losers their whole lives. So that means that MCU fans who are very immature and crybabies are finally waking up to the fact that Marvel is18 making kiddie movies that are just getting boosted by critics pald off by Disney. WOW! MCU fans take a long time to figure out simple things!

WOW! MCU fans take a long time to figure out simple things! WTF are you on about? I was being sarcastic, dipshit...the movie's made back 3.7 times its budget and and continued Marvel's streak of sequels out-grossing the originals.
