And mustard doth taste totally yucky! No, it doesn't. Who has led you to be an anti-mustardite?

I will admit there has been a change in how some mustards are made. the past like 5 bottles of French's mustard have all come to me with an inordinate amount of vinegar. too much vinegar. like they have all gone bad. but Heinz's yellow mustard is fine. so French's has gone down the tubes along with twinkles and malomar bars

I generally don't care for it, but like hot mustard. Which means I like horseradish and don't mind if it has mustard in it.

Mustard oil is the best oil for cooking certain foods. I do love mustard.

I go thru weird moods, where I'll love spicy for a couple months, then honey for awhile, etc. etc. But I'll always love horseradish.

agree! Love mustard, although plain yellow is down near the bottom.

great stuff! Still looking for that brand, nuts. I know you mentioned it before... I'm sure I'll find it one of these days. Bet it's good on a corned beef sandwich!

That is how I feel too.
I remember on my first trip to Europe buying a hot dog at Brussels train station and covering the thing in mustard, just like I did at home - except this was nothing like the mustard that was commonly available at home at the time! I took a bite and had to spit it out, with tears in my eyes.

Hello, I'd say they used aromata a lot in the Dark Ages in order to cover the taste of meat gone sour when fresh game wasn't available... Usually I don't do sauces. I do not even add salt. Sometime a bit of hot india spice on rice, with sesame oil and soy sauce. Now, there no use to eat a hot dog without mustard, imho. Till later, T

I had some mustard earlier. With food, I mean. Good stuff. I prefer it to ketchup, which sort of tastes/feels cheap to me now. It's okay on fries but I'm not a big fan.
Also good stuff to add to food or make tea from: ginger and curry. Ginger is also good for digestion, aids circulation, reduces inflammation. Curry, or rather the active ingredient in it, curcumin, works along the same lines. Adding black pepper aids in absorption. It's worth googling these things. There's tons of data out there on how healthy they are.

I usually dislike mustard except on Cuban sandwiches or dishes like potato salad as long as its in small amounts. When I use mustard in things like potato salad, I use the Grey Poupon Dijon mustard because its milder than that bright yellow stuff.

For me, it's hot dogs and turkey sandwiches where I'm most "mustard crazy." lol
